    I always thought (assumed?) we were the only club with the blackboard half time scoreboards.

    As far as I know every club did. I know from memory that as well as us, Southend and West Ham did. A quick internet search has just returned pictures of similar boards at Arsenal, Shrewsbury, Hibernian, Chester, West Brom (theirs was huge) and Bradford.

    If a particulatly fine cut is required on the snooker tables up our club but its do-able its known as a 'Graham Webb' - if its impossible then its a 'Frankie' - as in frankie frazer couldn't cut that.  The choice of inflatable does seem a bit strange - i like it but how super mario / frank sidebottom ties up with a hairdressers, i'm not sure

    Is the 'Jeremy Thorpe' shot still common parlance among the snooker fraternity?
