And just when I thought the F5 was about to take a well earned rest…
LB has to be the priority, then GK, then ST if really necessary, but think we have enough threat for L1 with Stockley, Washington, Leko, Davison, Lee (who can play there, but more naturally a CAM) and Schwartz 🤷🏻♂️

What did surprise me is with many having taken out government loans there was a strong suggestion of a potential fire sale at a large number of EFL clubs and that many would need to sell a player before the window closed, probably at lower value.
I didn’t see as many instances of that happening as I thought I would
Agreed, there was talk of the divisions being full of teams in desperate financial straits, and that the clubs with money would be able to pick them off. I still wonder what will happen in January though, as there will be a number of players then with 6 months on their contract
Crewe bundled Dale out the back door on loan with an obligation to buy at the last knockings, in part due to the fact Lowery's agent called their bluff and refused the moves on the table.
Lowery needs to find a new agent,he sounds like a right knob. He's happy to let his client train with the kids and not have a chance of playing for the 1st team. Greedy scumbag.
Honestly wouldn't surprise me if he rocks up at Derby or somewhere on a pay as you play. Don't quite know why he's training in Italy when he can't sign.
Cheers Cawley, that little update should keep me busy for a while. Not like I’ve got anything else to do apart from work, finish renovating a house, and look after the kids in between. Nice one.

Bit of a mixed bag given its the same Agency that looks after Adam Matthews so we saw last season what they're like - They also look after Ryan Inniss, but they're probably too shit scared to tell him what to do.

Didnt know that, thanks. Maybe get Ryan to have a word with him then😂
I know we are well stocked up in some positions and not expecting Sims to sign.
However, if we were to sign him, it allows us to have Leko up front, Sims and Kirk on the left, DJ and Blackett-Taylor on the right. Clayden can develop in the U23s and out on loan. Lee as a 10.
It means we would have options just as good as each other.
Plus, I think he’s class at this level.
But yes, a left back is a priority and another position to top up elsewhere. Not entirely sure I’d go for a GK as an emergency loan could work out better.
In August 2019, after his contract with Crystal Palace expired, Souaré joined French Ligue 2 club Troyes on a one-season contract with an option of a further 12 months.
In July 2021, having made no appearances for Troyes in the previous season, Souaré trained with the Crystal Palace under-23 squad, with a view to maintain fitness, and appeared in pre-season matches for the side.
Freedman is the sporting director at Palace, good long term friends of Gallen. Potentially one that got in contact with him about in the efforts to help Souaré find a new club.
@Sage I know you are a big fan of Simms and from what I've heard about him (from a saints supporting mate) and elsewhere he does seem like a decent talent at this level at least.
Why do you think he was not picked up this transfer window? Wage demands coming down from the Premiership?
If cawley is saying that we surely are not going to wait around as free agents will be getting snapped up and have a few options now the window is shut so i expect some signings v soon ...

Has a lot of experience, but hasn’t played much since his horrible crash a few years ago.

Looks like he was training with Palace u23s in the summer and got a few games.
Old man Watson
Even Innis whom has potential to be a legend if he stayed fit for us is unlikely to ever do so.
Our recent ex Palace business has been dreadful on the whole.

On Jack Wiltshere, I think you will find that Dennis Wise owns Como in Italy so that will be the link
