Inniss is already a cult hero and is a good player but due to his fitness, is a liability. You can't build a promotion winning team around players like that unfortunately.Dazzler21 said:Callumcafc said:Inniss can barely complete one set of 90 minutes, let alone 46 of them across several months. I would honestly expect Lavelle to come in and be first choice. Inniss can't last but would be a hell of a set piece weapon off the bench.
i would rather the better player be first choice, personally.
Besides all of that, have you seen Lavelle play to know that Inniss is better?0 -

LB/CB and ST, potentially all 3. Ronnie has a Calf injury, but he is not part of NA plans is what i've heardValleyGary said:I can still see an LB being signed on loan. Perhaps we are waiting for other perms to be done before we know what wage budget is left and can be offered as a % to parent clubs.4 -

No that's why I didn't say which should start.Callumcafc said:

If Inniss is better he should be first choice, if Lavelle is then he should be.0 -

Wont be surprised if a loan left-back has already signed and the club are trolling by leaving that announcement until last.1

Heard something on Sam Lavelle from a Morecambe fan?3

Yeah I do - he is a very good attacking midfielder which is what we need in our team. I dont want to lose that. I wouldn't sub him in for Stockley - I would rather he plays just behind him making late runs into the box.Crusty54 said:
Do you wanna bet. Brilliant goal tonight.DamoNorthStand said:
Lee is not an out and out striker - attacking midfielder more like.sam3110 said:
He's 4th choiceCroydon said:
Davison should be third choice and nothing more. Would much rather he was out on loan.sam3110 said:
Tbf I think he'll be a decent option to have, but I still think we need another striker, especially if Schwartz isn't around. The issue is we play a very specific way with Stockley so really we need a backup to him, but I'd actually like us to sign a striker with a lot of pace to stretch teams insteadCallumcafc said:Davison scores in the Pizza Trophy. No striker needed now.

We need another before 11pm IMO1 -

It does in some ways, I think. Makeshift left backs are not good but makeshift centre halves are points lost. If Inniss is not 100% really, it makes sense.Gravesend_Addick said:No talk of a left back. Doesn't look like we're going to get one, which I find odd.
Signing another centre back instead of a left back doesn't make any sense to me1 -

Just got in and can’t be arsed to read 900 new posts so, are we close on anyone or is Arter going to be it?0

Close on a CB, nothing else as far as I can tell.AddickUpNorth said:Just got in and can’t be arsed to read 900 new posts so, are we close on anyone or is Arter going to be it?2 -

From what Cawley said it sounds like we're working on others too.1 -

Wonder if anyone has signed before while we’re actually playing a game.Callumcafc said:He made that trip quick.1 -

Anyone got a list of Two Touch Agency players? Any reason why the agency would be at the Valley?0

I suspect (and have for a while) his exit is dependent on us bringing someone in to replace. Bet he is as hopeful as us of Charlton signing playerscabbles said:Wouldn’t be surprised to see Schwartz go out on loan somewhere.1 -

Apparently we tried to sign a Crawley player while he was actually playing but he dropped the pen as he went up for a headerRC_CAFC said:

Stockley | Davison | Vennings are their Clients
They also have two Crawley players0 -
If we hold on and beat Crawley tonight, we’ll be on a two match unbeaten run and I really can’t see the need for any more players.7
