Following our poor away form over the past 2 seasons I really do think Stoke away is a massive game for us.We need to put down a marker and show we have the bottle for Championship away games. What do you peeps think?
I would agree that Away form will probably dictate what sort of season we have. Can see the Valley being a Fortress, but won't mean much if our pitiful away performances over the last year follow us down to the championship.
Its a shame this game of all games is on TV as it may well set a precedence as to how our away attendances may shape you throughout the season.
i.e. If it had not been then a fair few may have travelled. If we had then gone on to win the game there would have been more people (incl me) who who would have come out of that "why should I waste a whole Sat and £150 to go and watch us lose" mentality.
First away game of the season, first time at Stoke in years (there was only about 300-400 of us the last time we went there midweek so doubt many have been to the Brittainia), not the worst journey in the world, and likely to be sensibly priced.
Tiime to back the club right from the off in my opinion.
