    Pearce: 5
Matthews: 6 better second half. Funnily enough, in his proper position
Maatsen: 6 Now a utility man. Shows how bad this squad really is
    Gilbey: 4
    Morgan: 4
    Forster-Caskey: 4
Bogle: 2 I wish I could say there was a decent striker fighting to get out. Fella's all over the place
Washington: 6 Works hard. No end product
    Smyth: 4
    Williams: 4
Referee: 3. Struggled to keep up with those of the game if you can believe that!. He was nigh on the halfway line when they scored their first. Typical league oner.

Amos: 5 not great for first goal, bit unlucky however
Gunter: 4 offers us nothing, bottles challenges, i'd pick Matthews over him on the Right all day every day
Pratley: 3 silly red, looked shit beforehand
Pearce: 6.5 battled like a captain should, tried to lead by example
    Matthews: 6 tried
    Maatsen: 6 tried
    Gilbey: 3 useless
Morgan: 5 tried but nothing came off, looked off the pace out of position
Forster-Caskey:5 sloppy, shit forward passes, really frustrating
Bogle: 1 couldnt hit a cows arse with a banjo
Washington:6 tried to make things happen
Smyth: 5 tried again, but did little to make an impact
    Williams:5 same as above
Referee: 1 shittest ref we've had in a while, wanted the centre of attention to be on him it felt. Absolute knob

All in all, we were shit, nowhere near where we should be and a lot of that imo falls on the tactics and selection in recent weeks. We've looks tired and really lacklustre, no excitement or energy about us, lots of laboured sideways passes. What i'd give for our 18/19 playoff team back.

Amos: 6 Nothing to do, other than pick the ball out of the net.
Gunter: 5 The defence's priority was to mark Wilkes. he didn't, we conceded 1-0. Bloody poor.
Pratley: 4 We may have come back until his pathetic stupidity.
    Pearce: 6
Matthews: 6 He must have been so excited when told at HT that he was allowed to play on the correct side.
Maatsen: 6 Did ok for a LB playing centre forward, midfield, everywhere but LB.
Gilbey: 6 Not a liability today, but pretty anonymous.
Morgan: 6.5 Looked like he may produce something, at least he looked like he wanted to.
Forster-Caskey 6 Standard non performance, although set pieces were decent.
Bogle: 3 What an absolute waste of space. A few disagreed when I said he was our worst ever forward.
He's definitely in the contest & will go down in Charlton history as one of the worst.
Apart from being unable to control a football, he had a glorious chance to equalise & I'm not certain if he even managed to make contact with the ball.
Washington: 7 Our best player, did well, looked lively & dangerous. Presume he'll be dropped for that.
    Smyth: 5 Anonymous.
Williams: 6 Put in some effort.
Referee: 5 Pinickity twat from the get go. So as a professional you should be thinking I'd better be careful here, as he'll blow up for anything.
Pratley decides the opposite & thinks it's a good idea to kick someone off the ball.

Pratley: 2 seems he agrees with CL that a CB needs to play in his position. Soft but with his experience he shouldn't be giving the ref the opportunity. Not sure we'd have got anything but this made it certain
    Pearce: 6
    Matthews:6
    Maatsen: 6
    Gilbey: 4
    Morgan: 4.5
Forster-Caskey: 6 probably our best player today, looked bothered
    Bogle: 3
    Washington: 5 works hard
    Smyth: 4.5 no impact
    Williams: 5.5
Referee: 3 terrible. After the soft sending off was determined to give as much as possible Hull's way. And the period on the 42nd minute, WTF? Still probably not the worst this season

The kind of game that makes you dread giving marks, also had a row with the Mrs (who just happens to be from Hull). Missed first ten minutes (due to row).

    Amos: 6.5
    Gunter:  5 is getting worse
Pratley:  3 (-2 for the red)
Pearce:   6.5 doing his best but cannot be expected to hold the whole team together, he was also our most progressive passer in the first half, how has taht coe to pass!
Matthews: 6 A better ore progressive RB than Gunter
Maatsen:   6 At least he has some oomph but hard to do it on your own
Gilbey:     4 - I might be being generous
Morgan:  5 Running through treacle for such a good player
Forster-Caskey: 5 - commentators said he was our MOM but I can't see it, did nothing too wrong but I can't remember anything good either
Bogle:  3 - I so want to be supportive
Washington: 6 Actually think he s a good player but he was on his own against 5+ players
    Smyth: 5 - tried
    Williams: 5 - tried
Referee: 4 - When was the last time we played to a referee and exploited weaknesses? Seems to happen to us every other game.

We need speed, skill and muscle!

Pratley: 4 Sadly two games a week is to much

Maatsen: 5 looked lost hardly his fault
    Gilbey: 2 was he playing?
    Morgan: 4 poor
    Forster-Caskey: 5 poor but tried
Bogle: 1 he has no idea did not see him once link with Washington (that is all season) split strikers??????
    Washington: 5 tried
    Smyth: 4
Williams: 5 he did try a bit
    Referee: 2 very poor

Watson: N/A thought we had a result when he went off

Bowyer 1 he has lost the plot with that starting line up, he needs to look at himself bloody hard stop blaming every one else

Amos: 6 - unfortunate with their first goal as it was deflected off Pearce? and there was no defenders at the back post.
Gunter: 4 - out of position for their first goal and very average the rest of the time.
Pratley: 3 - made quite a few errors then did a kick out which for someone with his experience should know better.
Pearce: 6 - sluggish defending but was at the end of our few free kicks and corners. Without Aneke there's no-one who can attack the ball in the air.
Matthews: 5 - played on the wrong side again!! When he went to his natural position on the right it improved the balance of the defence.
Maatsen: 5 - yet again playing right midfield when he is a left full back!! Got better by being switched to the left hand side in 2nd half.
Gilbey: 3 - Very disappointing so far. He gives the midfield very little.  Don't understand this as he was meant to be a box-to-box midfielder.  Lapslie would be far more effective had LB given him the chance.
Morgan: 6 - one of very few players who can create from the midfield. Gets taken off yet again. i don't know what Morgan has done to upset Bowyer so much. Again played on the left where Forster-Caskey should be.
Forster-Caskey: 6 - passed the ball reasonably well. Good set piece deliveries.
Bogle: 1 - what a bungler.  Davison I think could pose more of a threat.
Washington: 5 - runs around like a poor version of Simon Church. Had limited threat, but he had a bit of ball control and took up some good positions unlike his strike partners.
Smyth: 3 He's not a natural forward. Cant play in a striker's position. Winger at best. No threat. Maddison should've been brought on instead as an attacking central midfielder.
Williams: 4 - played mainly as a defensive right wing back. Why?? There were times when he was like a full back.

Amos: 6 - left exposed again by a porous defence
Gunter: 4 - went awol for the first goal and was generally mediocre. I would like to see Matthews reinstated at right back
Pratley: 4 - shaky throughout and his rash error presented Eaves with a gilt-edged chance in the first half, which our old friend, formerly of the Medway Riviera, helpfully blasted over the bar. An idiotic sending off, which effectively ended our flaccid resistance
Pearce: 5 - not too bad but uncomfortable against pace and Hull's ability to break at speed
Matthews: 6 - played out of position yet again (despite the abject failure of that experiment last week) and was, unsurprisingly, much better in the second half when he was restored to his proper position
Maatsen: 6 - plays with a bit of pace and zest but another who suffered by being played out of position on the right in the first half
Gilbey: 4 - the invisible man. What on earth has happened to this guy ?
Morgan: 6.5 - played out of position on the left because Bowyer doesn't trust him in central midfield. Our best passer and our one player with a bit of quality and invention who was trying to make something happen - so naturally he was hooked
Forster-Caskey: 4.5 - a couple of good set-plays but, as so often, he flattered to deceive. His passes are generally sideways and backwards and tend to suck the energy and tempo out of the game, save for the odd 'Hollywood' 40 yarder into touch
Bogle: 2 - that half first was probably the worst performance I have ever seen from a Charlton centre-forward (surpassing even the efforts of Mike Small and Barry Endean at Millwall back in the mid-80s and early 70s respectively)
Washington: 4 - one very good cross in the first half and one piece of excellent control in the second but that was about it in terms of his impact on the game. He habitually disappears from games for long periods
Smyth: 4 - ran around a lot but, even allowing for the abject service, looks a bit of a headless chicken
Williams: 4 - was barely able to get out of his own half, although we went down to 10 men within a few minutes of him coming on, so who knows what his instructions were
Referee: 4 - weak and whistle happy, although his performance was irrelevant to the outcome of this game
