Pratley 7.5 - Read the game well and was composed when needed. Maatsen 6 - Did ok and showed decent energy. Deliberate booking at the end? Watson 8- Looked classy at times. The longer ball and threat from Aneke, gave him more space. Ipswich never closed him. Morgan 8 - Lapslie-esq energy levels and class on the ball. Lee Bowyer-esq goal. That sort of performance will get the scouts watching. Shinnie 6 - Did his bit in midfield. Williams 7.5 - Another beneficiary of the more direct style. The stretched game gave him space and he worked hard for his 54 mins. Aneke 8 - No goals but an excellent centre-forward's game. No surprise Ipswich saw more of the ball after he went off. Smyth 6 - Plenty of hard work. Gilbey 6 - Feeling his way back. Bogle 6.5 - Took up a good position for his well taken goal. He looked good in the left channel while he was playing with Aneke but not so good thereafter. Purrington 7.5 - Looked strong and decisive. Looks ready to replace Maatsen on Weds.
