Maynard-Brewer: 8 thought he did very well, some great saves. Wasn’t really at fault for the goals. Dempsey: 5.5 drifted in and out. Had one good shot that was unfortunately deflected. Oshilaja: 5.5 lost his man a few times, at least one bad foul. Baker: 8 stand out performance as a debut. Seemed completely at home, and what a tackle he put in in the box. Purrington: 4 he seems to have gone backwards. Oztumer: 6 great free kick, some tidy touches but lost it a lot Lapslie: 6.5 tenacious and got into some good positions. RWB suits him. Vennings: 5 put some good passes in but also some poor decisions at key moments. Henry: 3 seemed okay first half, but gave it away 3 seconds into the second half and led to the afc equaliser. Didn’t really get into it after that. Morgan: 5 some good balls but not as effective as usual. Disappointing. Davidson: 4 tried hard but didn’t really work for him Bonne: 4 didn’t make much impact Forster-Caskey: 5 showed some intent Doughty: 6.5 his usual pace and trickery with some crosses nearly converted Referee: 7 fine Lauren Kreamer: 10 legendary
Maynard-Brewer: 7.5 - Another good one coming through Dempsey: 5.5 - Not entirely sure of what he does apart from having a quality beard. Oshilaja: 6.5 - Did fine playing at LCB. Baker: 8 MOTM - 17 and previously nowhere near the first team it seemed. Incredibly solid. Did we steal some of Morro's DNA and clone him? Purrington: 6 - Pretty anonymous Oztumer: 7.5 - Our best moments going forward went through him Lapslie: 7 - Solid defensively and put in some good crosses Vennings: 6 - Same as always with him, some good moments of real quality, and then drifted out Henry: 6.5 - Let them back in the game then faded second half. But the talent for someone who just turned 17 is there to see. Excited to see more of him. Morgan: 6.5 - Put in a shift, not a lot came off, didn't have the players around him to really make things work Davidson: 7 - Still raw. Touch still needs work.
