Was out drinking a couple of weeks ago with a Rangers fan and a Sunderland fan. They were comparing notes on how bad Beale had been for each of their clubs. I mentioned it had looked like he might have joined us at one stage before he went to QPR and they were both of the opinion we dodged a bullet.2
