I'd be really surprised if he rejoined us. A regular with Reading last season, it would be surprising if he was to drop down to L16
-
Would be a real shock. Can’t see it one little bit.0
-
What a signing that would be in the champ let alone league 1!!!1
-
No way Morrison will come back.0
-
Can't see why Morrison would leave Reading despite them just appointing another new manager.0
-
unless his wife is local and wants to move back to the area to be near her parents. I can’t see it happening for football reasons1
-
We should also remember that Morrison and Jacko a very close friends, maybe the lure of playing for JJ convinced him?4
-
Would be a good signing, liked him a lot last time.dickplumb said:Michael Morrison to join when embargo lifted.

Can’t really see this happening. Morrison has started Reading’s last two PSF. He’s playing regularly in the Championship, why would he swap that for us in League One?9
-
There’s more chance of you starting the first game.North Lower Neil said:

Maybe wants a crack at winning another trophy and playing for a successful promotion chasing team rather than another mid to lower Championship table grind with one of the most boringly average/non descript clubs in English football.Sage said:Can’t really see this happening. A more realistic CB signing would be Omar Beckles. He's a free agent and knows L1 well. Very impressive when we met Shrewsbury in the playoffs a couple of years back.
Was born in East London and would suit a move to us. Plus can also play left back.9 -
So he is signing for Peterborough or SunderlandAthletico Charlton said:

100% not us because we are looking at mid table with our squad lol1 -
Yup, I can see the attraction going to Accrington Stanley and Crewe Alexandra.Athletico Charlton said:

He’s also likely to be on a decent wage too, is he in love with Jacko and therefore, would be willing to take around 13% of his salary?
Maybe I am being too pessimistic, but I just can’t see this one happening and would be very seriously surprised if it did.4 -
Morrison is 32 now.
It's not impossible.3 -
He is training at Wigan.Oh Eddie Youds... said:A more realistic CB signing would be Omar Beckles. He's a free agent and knows L1 well. Very impressive when we met Shrewsbury in the playoffs a couple of years back.

Wigan are the only club in English football in a worse state than us! V.likely he'd prefer a move back to London. He played for Millwall as a youngster.
We should definitely have Beckles and other good L1 free agents like Armand Gnanduillet on our targets list. Exactly what we need at the back & up top.0 -

Great that we've got 5-6 incomings ready to go once the embargo is lifted, but presumably these are all based on an existing transfer budget of naff all?
If TS can get in this week, is there a possibility that he could add to the budget that would enable Gallen/Bowyer to shop in a slightly higher quality market? With a month left in the window (albeit a week until the season starts), do you think Gallen/Bowyer would prefer to wipe the slate clean and bring in higher quality/longer term prospects, or rush in the handful of 5'4, treatment-table-warming, journeyman misfits on 1 year contracts that we're used to, in order to avoid playing kids for the first four weeks?
Perhaps the most realistic is a blend of the two approaches with Matthews and 1-2 others announced early doors whilst they go back out to the market to fill the other slots.1 -
Where has the Morro link come from is there any substance to it or has he been mentioned and we’ve just run with it?2

He is celebrating a goal in that picture, but the ball is clearly not over the line.MattF said:

These people must have 3 different dice, one for a club, one for a player and one from a fee that they just roll6
