Thanks to the players in this thread- we really appreciate you.

edited June 2020 in General Charlton
There is a prominent thread about a certain player who has decided not to help us avoid relegation. So it is necessary to name the players who are out of contract at the end of June but have signed extensions. These are the players we want out on the pitch battling for our club.

Naby Sarr, Jonny Williams, Adam Matthews, Tomer Hemed, Jake Forster-Caskey, Lewis Page, Ben Amos, Albie Morgan, Josh Davison are all due to see their current deals expire at the end of June. And we need to add loanees to this list to: Andre Green, Aiden McGeady and Matt Smith.

Thanks to you all. We do appreciate it. COYRs!

  • Good luck lads...

Its a bit controversial but dont try and win games for anyone other than yourselves (we've seen from the Keith Palmer game that the players struggle to step up)

Each of you dont want relegation on your CV so focus on that for your own careers in the future - We believe you can do it!!
  • And Josh Cullen :) Sorry. MOTM today
  • Sue Parkes
  • It would have been very easy for the loan players to say that they didnt want to play on......but they didnt. They all stood together & said that they'd fight with the rest of the team. Much respect.

I so hope that we stay up. Just so when Taylor ever visits the Valley we can say with gusto....."no one likes you.....we dont care"
  • Tom Lockyer gave a great rallying call in his interview. Proper leader and will be Captain one day if he stays long enough.

  • Why did Bowyer sign journeyman Pratley ?
You will see why, over the next 8 games.
Someone always has to do the heavy lifting - and he’s up for it every time.
  • Bloody heroes... 8 to go

  • Echo the thoughts on Hemed. Could easily have walked away but came back and looked like a different player. The cross field ball for Mcgeady was sublime.
  • It's been tough for him getting injured and then getting the occasional 5 minutes when we're chasing a game.

If he gets a run in the team it gives him a chance to get to know them and vice versa.
