Interesting to read our pre-season thoughts, guess we'd all take a place off place now...

    Interesting or depressing ?

Neither interesting nor depressing, just realistic. Automatic promotion still isn't beyond us, but with inconsistency and a lack of confidence in the squad, not to mention a goal scorer looking like he'll score any moment then a play-off position is the best we can realistically hope for, and that isn't a cert either.

The defence/midfield looks reasonably settled now, but we are still juggling the strikers around to find the best combination that doesn't bode well, and I think our last striker to score was Iwelumo on March 1st, that isn't play-off form.

It would take some weird run of results; it's only mathematically possible. I think it's beyond us realistically.

You and others may well be right, Jimmy - but it seems strange to give up, just 2 points behind and 18 points to play for.

Some of these teams still have to play each other - so these teams can't both win.
  • exactly,a win over wolves might just kick-start our season.
  • A solid 2-0 win would do wonders for the confidence and wed get the "lift off" as curbs puts it that we need....

So i expect us to be comfortably top two if things click, or failing that a very disappointing season between 7-9.

Looks like i got the wrong bit right :-(
