Assistance with Home Schooling
I haven't done the Prevent, equal ops, etc. training and I've not had the criminal record check done (basically because I gave up teaching before all this lot came in, I never thought I'd be going back to teaching, and the record check costs a lot). So, I can't do anything actually with children but I am a qualified teacher so if any parents/guardians have anything they'd like any assistance with, I'd be happy to help if I can. Gratis.

Velofit Cycle Coaching
I provide bespoke cycling training plans for everything from beginners up to advanced (I coach elite juniors and 4th-1st cat racers). I specialise in improving riders starting from a low level of fitness, and - since this is an interest of mine rather than my full time job, I can pick and choose who I work with, rather than have to take on absolutely anyone interested in my services - so the more compelling your story, the better.
Additionally, I'm significantly cheaper than the majority of coaches - who just provide off the shelf plans for people and limit them to one or two contacts per week, with no interest in assessing progress properly.
I'm especially interested in working with people returning to fitness after a long injury, or people looking to get fit after a long period being unfit/overweight.
I'm working towards ABCC Level 3 accreditation, and my main selling points as a coach are my understanding of exercise physiology and my personal experience of the journey to fitness using cycling for exercise.
I currently coach 12 riders - which, until now, was the maximum I would work with, but I now have space for up to 15 - and my riders are based across the country - from Scotland to London, Bristol to Leeds, Nottingham to Essex 😊
