Thought the same but just walked into my dining room to find one of my lads has made a pop up St George’s Day bar, so looks like the pub is coming to our house instead when I’ve finished work :-):smile:blackpool72 said:1st St.Georges day I can remember when I can't celebrate with a pint or three down the pub.
Will have to make up for it at a later date.
In the meantime happy St.Georges day to all and stay safe.6 -
I put this on Twitter earlier... I took these snaps London Bridge five years ago. Happy St George’s Day.

Very few people care about St George's day, can tell by the interest in this post.
English people don't need an excuse for a piss up.0 -
Few years ago in Greenwich after the boat trip referenced above. Another beautiful day today ,would have been perfect for a celebration pub crawl, but been stuck indoors working instead.
Hope everyone who it matters to had a happy St George’s Day. Let’s hope we’re back to normality this time next year!4 -

My work intranet site yesterday banged on about Ramadan - nothing said about it being St George’s Day - I could just imagine the vitriol that would have poured my way if I had pointed that out, so didn’t post anything on the work ‘chat board’PopIcon said:Very few people care about St George's day, can tell by the interest in this post.

Such a shame it’s come to this - nothing wrong with being proud of your nationality and your country5 -
Now that St. George's Day is past, can anyone tell me when St. Valiant's Day will be?
I'm looking forwards to seeing him slay the dragon of useless owners....

The authorities were/are concerned about the possible lack of social distancing due to Ramadan.Lordflashheart said:
