Backalong inthe 70s when I was a regular on the legendary Lewis coach, trundling up the M1 and M6, we'd always get passed by Midland Red buses ...... I always thought you were named after them; it would be so very Charlton.
Meanwhile, scheduled to reach my very own 65th birthday in May, on Oak Apple Day. Like you and young Mr Blackpool72, I really could do with getting my pension on the date that we were promised over a lifetime of paying NI contributions. It's funny how the state pension age was changed by wealthy politicians to whom state pension is only beer money.
