Do you know what, I am going to take this seriously, and say the out-take of T Plays It Cool from the 40th Anniversary edition of Marvin Gaye’s Trouble Man, because it was then I realised that the drum groove that’s been driving funk drummer’s mad, including me, for 40 years was the same two bars on loop.
