Pearce or Sarr - we can't mark at corners.
  • Not very often I look at a Charlton bench and wonder who I would prefer to see tonight. ...Green, Williams and Taylor?
  • No subs?
You just worry holding back on Taylor and Williams will come back and bite us.

we need some impetus. They should have scored then
  • Is Lyle still on bench or has he gone to dressing room then?

    Defending well. Nothing up front.

All three? - Green for Cullen - Williams for Oztumer - Taylor for Morgan is my prediction tonight

Fucking about all of a sudden
  • Should be 1 down there. Is this our night?
    Shhh ...
  • No subs?
    Why?
Because I want to know if there have been any subs.

Can't give Pearce a ball under that pressure on his right foot. Asking for trouble.

Bring them on too early and you risk being without them again due to injury!!

Ah.  I think you misunderstand me.  I was asking if there had been any subs.

No subs, no bookings, no score.

    In a nutshell.

Pearce is scary on the ball, more so than Sarr.

Sometimes his left isn't too flash either.

53' Great defending from Lockyer to stop Decordova-Reid as he enters the box. He's then fouled as he skips away from the Fulham forward.
  • Both Taylor and Williams warming up

Give it 5mins and we'll see one or both of them come on

They should be able to last 45 mins. Taylor hasn’t been out that long and Williams has been back a while.

Lets see if it was the right thing and we get a result

Pearce gives away a foul when attacking a free kick. Shock

Sarr is sometimes too comfortable on the ball and gets casual. Pearce looks terrified of it.

Timing the subs will be crucial - they need time to get back to fitness but no so long they are knackered/injuries play up on top of the tactical needs of this one game.

We are getting there in terms of sheer numbers of players but we're well short of a full squad fitness wise.

Taylor has been out an age... was barely back so you've got to take into account that recovery too
  • I've changed my mind I want Sarr to get Pearce off

56' Foul by Jason Pearce (Charlton Athletic).

    ..... the new Darren Pratley.

Or maybe, just the old Jason Pearce.
