I went down to the training ground yesterday lunch time and I don't recall seeing Kins. Perhaps there is some substance in this rumour?
  • I don't think this has been confirmed yet boys & girls
  • I'd love it if it were true, go on Sir Chris come home man, come home.

......and Keithy Peacock and Steve Brown. ;-)
  • Brilliant news, for some odd reason I suddenly feel more optimistic about next season.
  • woahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
  • Great to see him back, will be an excellent role-model for those in the academy and young professionals.

Does make me wonder though whether we'll either see Bromley's No.1 Cory Gibbs ever wear the shirt....

Heretic! Stone the unbeliever. Jihad on AFKA With Chrissy coaching him Cory can only be a even better player
  • Great news!

    Welcome home Sir Chris
  • Cant believe he will be our first choice left back for next season, it's a joke if he is.
  • think you'll find Thatcher and Gibbo ahead of him but I'm sure he'd be ok in an emergency.

  • love the player, the man, but not resigning him, sorry.

My understanding is, that should this happen, Chrissy would be returning as a coach with him playing as an option in an emergency.
  • should ? Quotes from Pards in KentToday so it seems a done deal.

well if Tony Hudd say's it it must be true. He had that list of released players before anyone else as well.
  • well he wasn't wrong was he.
  • Henry, not wanting to criticise the OS but why hasn't this been confirmed yet, considering that it's everywhere else? are we waiting to announce the signings of powell, eastwood, mullins, danns and taylor all together or are we going to spread it out over a few days???
  • in fairness, every man and his dog knew who was being retained and who wasn't. But a story like this, with quotes from Pardew, is a good little scoop if 100% accurate.
  • i am sure he would tell us if he knew

I don't know but remember the OS can't speculate or start talking about "likely to", "about to", "deal will be done today" sort of stuff.

For every signing that does happen there are 5 or 10 done deals that never happen and in most cases were never going to happen.

When they get the nod only then they can run the story. They did have the Yassin and Samedo stories before anyone else even got a sniff.

As for Mullins, Eastwood, Danns and Taylor. I could tell you but then I'd have to kill you ; - 0
  • fair play Henry, i suppose it will all come out in the fullness of time. Roll on next Wednesday! i wonder if i can get odds on Walton getting sent off?
