Arsenal v Leeds is a great draw.
  • Crap draw. Leko and Field ruled out.
We'll have Ronaldo and Messi by then

Boo, boring early exit with kids and subs. On the plus side hopefully get the weekends of 4th a dround free to get some rest into players and more walking wounded fit.
Not sure about that, can see Villa beating Fulham and they we have a game on 4th Round weekend
Depends what strength team either club puts out. Fulham won't be a push over especially if it's their 1st team.
  • Hope the BBC dont give us the Merseyside derby
    Some good ties there
  • It could be much worse. West Brom riding high and we had a good game up there recently. Beating them twice in a week at the Valley would be a huge confidence boost with new owners and a few encouraging signings.

Expecting a draw with a replay at the Hawthorns so we have to play them three times in 10 days.

No kudos if we win, but little chance of that anyway.
  • Really disappointing to play WBA a few days before we meet in the league.

It'll be interesting whether WBA show any more enthusiasm for the cup than Bowyer does. It's possible I support that they'll rest players for their promotion bid, whereas if Bowyer thinks we're relatively likely to be mid table, we may got for it more, but that seems rather unlikely, especially with our absentees

    Millwall v Newport
They're going on another damned cup run then
Millwall drawn at home? who'd have thought that rare occurrence would happen..

Serious question, should the 3rd round be seeded so you can't get a team in your own division?

Would make for an excellent round three draw but by the fifth round you’d have 16 Premier League teams left

    Bo(r)ing Bo(r)ing Baggies
  • Happy with that.
Will also be interesting to see what time we are asked to kick off with Millwall, Palace and Gills with home ties.

It's compulsory for Millwall to be drawn at home against shit teams for the first 3 rounds, then get a shit Premier league team at The Den in the 1/4 final.
Last season it was only Dave Martin doing the decent thing and throwing one in his own net in the 10th minute of injury time, that prevented another coke fuelled semi-final punch up at Wembley.

    What a crap draw.

As the Swansea game is on the Thursday, presumably we won't be playing on Saturday.
  • What's most annoying about that draw is with field coming back in 3 weeks he could probably have done with some game time!!!

To be honest Bowyer will definitely play a team of 18 year olds for this one, they shouldn’t charge any more than £10 a ticket

You can not be serious !  WBA are leading the Champ. TBF if CAFC reserves beat afc Flyde in the cup I would hope for a bus tour of Greenwich. B)
  • No chance of being on tv with that draw  - nailed on home win then (followed by losing the important league game shortly after!)!!!

WBA are on the telly a t m .. @ Preston (Bauer out injured) .. we got a draw at their place, they are good on their day, but are very beatable
