Charlton have released seven players, including defender Talal El Karkouri.
El Karkouri spent three years at the club and has been shown the exit along with other bigger name players keeper Thomas Myhre and striker Kevin Lisbie.
The list is completed by reserve players Nathan Ashton, Rurik Gislason, Alistair John and Myles Weston.
Veteran striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink was told he was surplus to requirements shortly after the end of the season.
Forward James Walker has been offered a new deal after loan spells with Bristol Rovers, Leyton Orient and Notts County last season.

JFH, El Kak, Myhre, Lisbie, Hughes, Kish, Hreidersson all left on free transfers + Darren Bent, of course.
All big earners - so really cut the wage bill massively.
And of the youngsters, Ashton, Gislason, John and Weston have all gone.
But none of these would have drained the budget unduly but, of course, they make way for the next batch of young professionals.
Still, 12 players have left the squad. Who's come in?
At the back end of last season we signed Dickson and Christiansen for £285k for the pair.
Since, we've signed Varney, McCarthy, Moutaoukil for £3 million between them - plus Iwelumo and Semedo on a free.
No such thing as a 'free' of course - signing on fees have to be paid - but all new signings are bound to be paid our CCC budget wages, so lots of savings.
So 7 new players have come in. We still need a solid goalkeeper plus a 'new' Scott Parker in midfield.
Will the club big spend some of the Bent money to attract quality players?
That's another £50k a week saved.
