Far be it for me to defend a spurs player *sad face * I do wonder if Phil McNulty has ever actually seen Bent play.

I read a report during the U21 about carson being inexperienced and having hardly played for the last 2 seasons, completely missed the fact that he had been on loan at CAFC for this season, probably just looked at his Anfield record and did not know enough to remember last season, hacks oftem no f all
