Last year we didn’t have a full subs bench on at least one occasion - and we could be struggling to fill the bench again this Saturday.Dazzler21 said:
No, this year and last year are definitely different, just not yet complete change.EveshamAddick said:Same every year under Roland.
Injuries - Taylor, Williams, Hemed, Page, Purrington, JFC, Field....0 -
Can’t be having Kayal. Been shite.2

5 minutes added time0

Wow. Heve we resigned Hasselbaink?moutuakilla said:Bench on Saturday is going to be full of inflatables2 -
He won't be available, still serving a ban.Saga Lout said:I reckon they'll be sorting out a squad number for Bowyer for Saturday at this rate!
Mind you, as he's serving a "touchline ban" he should be OK as long as he stays in centre midfield ...6 -
Perspective is really confusing with these high cameras0
-
The frustrating thing is that Brizzle really don’t look all that. Game there for the taking is we were able to freshen up later on. Kayal needs to be very very careful.7
-
As FA said, no worse than many others tonight. He needs game time, it's clear he has ability.ValleyGary said:Can’t be having Kayal. Been shite.

Cullen and Vetokele both dislocated their shoulders in the same match.
I will take a point tonight !2 -
Wording not the greatest, just want our players to get out of there aliveForeverAddickted said:
What ya mean rescue a point?Rossman92 said:At this rate, rescue a point, wrap the whole team and the coach in bubble wrap, do about 5kmh down the M4 and get back to London in one piece
Been by far the better team here so far even with the two subs0 -

Got to half time 0-0.
More of the same. A point will be wonderful.

Half time and we're weathering the storm.0

Last season before Christmas, Cullen and Igor.Addictedoldgit said:FFS what have we done to deserve this.
Let's blame 2 shat's.
Was it last season or season before we had 2 shoulder dislocations in same game.
In hindsight, losing Josh for a couple of months probably cost us an automatic promotion spot.0 -
Kayal did two great early runs... First time he was completely on his own and got crowded out - Second time the runner (Gallagher?) didnt make the neccessary movement
Booking has put him on the edge but I'll take that with it 0-0 - Had he done nothing then Bristol City could well have scored
Havent noticed him much more (it is a bloody high camera) but then he did put in an excellent challenge to stop a breakaway after our set piece didnt work, was even better for me based on the fact that he could easily have been off had he got it wrong
Oshilaja is doing an excellent job at right back alongside the dependable Lockyer / Pearce - Bonne is continuing to prove to me why he's second choice Striker and Cullen is having a real good game2 -
He’s given the ball away several times , been booked and made two stupid tackles outside the box . He’s strugglingDazzler21 said:

Its also his first start of the season after two very short cameo appearances - He's got minutes for Israel but he's still going to be very rusty at the momentBedsaddick said:

Recreating the boredom of a real half time by watching the Sky red screen and listening to the Bristol city announcer.7

Might throw £5 in the bin and have a bottle of Heineken.0

You’re absolutely right . No arguments there but at the moment he is struggling. Just an observationForeverAddickted said:

We've won 100% of our tackles tonight though... So there's that.0

Well it's held out so far. Thank you.Aethelstan said:

Very even game, without the injuries I would expect nil nil.0

What a panicky lot you are. We have lost two players, Forster-Caskey and Field, neither of them automatic choices for the team. Our squad is bigger and better than it has been for many seasons. Look at who we would have been bringing on in midfield two years ago: Reeves, Marshall, Crofts, Charles-Cook ...3

How has Kayal been shite?
The game as a whole has been pretty scrappy. But he has been no worse than anyone else.
If you look at his movement off the ball he actually has got himself inbetween the lines on a few occasions but has not been found with a pass.3 -
We're also hitting 3/4 passes on target to their 74/100. 😆
They've committed 5 fouls, but we've only won 4?!
We've completed 6/8 dribbles to their 2/3
We've won 63% of aerial duels.0 -
Started very confidently but you can sense in the ground that the two injuries have destabilised our shape.1
-
dreadful game made so much worse by having two players injured. we look the slightly better team but that aint saying much.
when it comes to Kayal he has struggled, a run or two with no idea how to pass the ball. thought his challenge for the booking had to be made as forstercasky was completely out of his position at left back.1
