  • Still looking at the fixtures, if Wigan defo lose 12 points I can’t see how Barnsley will make up the points with their fixtures. Luton are the ones that can catch us, but even that’s a fairly big ask.
This. You’re not going down. No chance.
What a nice chap you are.

I’m getting worried about you mate.
Lockdown has made me go soft in me old age
    Oh, bless you !

Think you can get tablets for that.....:-)
That's enough of your cheek young lady 😊
  • Really need to just get above Birmingham

We have a great chance against them.

    I'll bring elfsborg along.

    I want to enjoy it...
  • And well done Brizzle for sacking Johnson, with him still in charge they might have lost tonight
  • Just a shame we're in the relegation zone tonight like what got predicted last night... Oh no wait...
I knew the Hull result, and your post still made me check the table!

Why do people think Hull will turnover Bristol?
Bristol haven’t won in 10 games, that’s probably why
Every poor run comes to an end. Hull have to win to leapfrog us.
    Ahem.

  • Hull won’t win at Bristol City fact quote me on it

I know the game , predicted our relegation scrap while 75% of you pups were wankiing about your top half bets
Good man. Some have little faith, but Red, Red, Robins step up when it counts.

Gotta keep myself occupied somehow during the day!!
  • HT Weds 0 Preston 0. Not surprising as Weds has scored the fewest goals at home and Preston the fewest away in this league
  • The worrying thing is that there seems to be an amnesia setting in around here.  Since when have Charlton done remotely well at the "well we should do this and that stuff"?
  • Wigan winning is bad.  Was hoping Luton, Barnsley and Wigan would all slightly fade away.  Can see our game v Wigan being a winner takes all game.  Especially if they beat Barnsley and we don't beat Reading.
  • Weds 1-0 at 60 minutes

    Sorry.

I'm feeling a little light headed having left a shedload of silvery locks on the hairdresser's floor this afternoon...

    Well done Preston. 1-1
  • If only we had beaten Wednesday back in February and not lost in the last minute. We’d both be on 49 points right now, we’d like be safe and they’d likely be heading for their points deduction and going down.

All if only‘s and hindsight, but small margins...

  • 3-1 Preston
    Excellent
  • That 6th place has really opened up now, with Cardiff and Derby losing, and Preston and Swansea winning

After the results tonight, and if Leeds beat Stoke tomorrow evening, I think the best possible outcomes for the upcoming weekend games are:

    Huddersfield beat Luton
    We beat Reading
    QPR beat Wednesday
    Barnsley and Wigan draw
    Millwall beat Hull
Middlesborough draw or lose to Bristol City
    Stoke beat Birmingham

With 3 games to go, the table would look...

Wednesday 52 (potential points deduction incoming)
    Huddersfield 50
    Stoke 49
    Charlton 49
    Birmingham 49
    Middlesborough 47/48
    Hull 45
    Barnsley 43
Wigan 42 (including their points deduction)
    Luton 41

That would make me feel much better going into the Birmingham game next week on Wednesday.

    Let’s hope so!
  • All well and good sage but will we beat reading? Their only win post lockdown is the 5-0 battering of Luton

It’s going to be tough, like every remaining game, but I think we will do it. The boys know how important it is, we know we have been much more solid since coming back, and okay we lack goals, but we’ve got to score more than 1 in a game sometime. Why not Saturday?
  • I've a feeling Saturday will end up in a frustrating draw.

Could say that about a lot of games.

If we hadn't conceded injury time goals away to Bristol City, Millwall and Sheffield Wednesday, then we'd have 3 extra points.

Or if we hadn't conceded a last minute goal at home to Huddersfield then we'd have 47 points and they'd have 45.
  • Also Hull scored in injury time to equalise so another 2 points dropped there.
  • Just hope Birmingham dont get a new manager bounce after the news of Clotet leaving
