Anyone know how is Dench progressing what with being like Maynard-Brewer in coming over from Australia?0
-
Daniel Kanu, Jason Adigun and Henry Rylah were all amongst the goals as the young Addicks secured a fourth consecutive victory on Saturday1

Kanu looks like he is going to be some player. I really hope we keep him and he continues to progress. A strong season at U18s and the odd appearance in the U23s and he could set himself up for a pre-season with the first team next year. Let’s not pressure him, but it’s nice to have an exciting striker coming through who doesn’t rely on pace like Grant did. Nothing wrong with that but Kanu and even Burstow seem to have a little more about their game and that’s promising.13

Great just seeing Strikers coming through for us.
Have always found it to be a bit of an inconsistent area for us to produce.0 -
Won 4-3 at Cardiff City, today.
Scorers: Bower, Kanu, Adigun and Reilly.
Reilly also had a penalty saved.21 -
Cheers @Paddy Powell really appreciate these updates.3

Reillly seems to score a lot as well as Kanu. Certainly appears to be plenty of goals in the team. Well done kids.0

Sounds like a very promising player, an all round midfielder, strong defensively and good on the ball.12

Congratulations Karoy... Dont recognise the name to be honest1

Really good signing. Man Utd were very keen on him.9

We're in the U17 Premier League Cup this season (as well as the U18) and have been put in a group with three category one teams - Arsenal, Fulham and Tottenham.
The first group games were played last week and the young addicks won 1-0 at Fulham. Hobden scored the goal. Spurs beat Arsenal 9-0 in the other game.15 -
Karoy Anderson signs a Professional deal on his 17th Birthday for 3 years yet Deji Elerewe who has played for the 1st team reached 18 and suddenly isn't under contract ? Ged Roddy said Cafc are trying to get the contract sorted.
Can anyone explain if Deji only signed a contract to his 18 birthday ?
Find it hard to believe that Cafc under TS would play Deji Elerewe in the first team without having him under an adult contract where if he impressed the higher division teams we would get a fee.
Does anyone know the facts about Deji.
I wished Ged Roddy could have gone into more details about the lad.

Has Elerewe even made the bench recently? I am probably wrong but guessing he is being partially frozen out unless he signs a contract. Hopefully he signs. The U17/U18 seem a very good bunch and the best and most realistic way of ever getting back to the Championship/PL is to have 5-6 really good ones come through at the same time and compliment them with a handful of others. We had that opp with Lookman, Pope, Gomez, KAG, Konsa and Aribo but the old scrote fudged it up.0 -
Sounds like some of the youngsters coming through could be an exciting time in a couple of years time.0

Charlton's U18s have been drawn away to Worthing in the first round of the FA Youth Cup.
The young Addicks will take on the Mackerel Men in the tie which is expected to take place at their Woodside Road ground with ties to be played before November 6th.

The dream draw for me.
My dad coached Worthing's U18s for 10 years but tragically passed away 3 weeks ago . Every year we'd hope we'd draw Charlton either at home or away in the Youth Cup and never managed it. Divided loyalties for me as I do the matchday photography for Worthing so it's going to be quite the night.22 -
Condolences for your recent loss Marcus and that is so poignant to hear about your dad. I hope you enjoy the evening and get some great pictures.5

Won 6-3 at Millwall in their second PLD Cup group game.
They were 4-0 up at half time, but were pegged back to 4-3 before a late double clinched the win.
I've no info on the scorers etc..16 -

I've no idea who got the goal in a 1-0 win at Crewe, so it could be 11.
EDIT - He's scored for the U23s, too.4 -
Give him a run out against Leyton Orient!!!0

Get him on a long contract ASAP... seems to score every week4
