Strange coincidence that Leicester won their first PL title watching Chelsea at Stamford Bridge
The Leicester players would have had more fun than the Liverpool players  will have tonight!

I know it’s been a long time, but if I was a Liverpool fan I’d be a bit disappointed to win it like this.
    I doubt it

Really good second half, City in complete control then Chelsea making changes and storming back.
  • Well worthy winners this season.

    No, I’m telling you.
  • Gutted that Liverpool's drought is over. For many reasons but the biggest one being that the last time they won it we got relegated. So did Sheffield Wednesday who (hopefully) have a points deduction coming that could see them relegated. Oh and Luton stayed up against the odds on the last day. It's a sign, and not a good one. Sorry everyone.

United were 13th that season , but won the FA Cup which kept Fergie in the job. From a neutrals point of view, it's interesting in the next 3 seasons to see the Fergie era starting and the Liverpool era ending

I still don't get the animosity against Liverpool - a great football club.
    Well done, richly deserved.

Especially as the alternative would have been Man City domination like Bayern Munich or Celtic in their leagues.

Looking at the stats for top flight wins, Spurs really are the great underachievers. Just 2 titles, the same as Burnley, and their last title was one year after Burnley's last title!

A brilliant football club - a real football club.

None of this artificial bollocks of City and Chelsea titles. Never had hairs on the back of my neck up at a ground that isn’t The Valley until I saw us at Anfield.

Making me think of my childhood when football was so much purer and simpler. Back to the 80s tonight. Football was so much better then.

It’s not so much Liverpool football club, it’s scousers for me. Their weird sense of
entitlement and their attitude towards the rest of England, as if they’re separate to the rest of us.

Plus they’d have a minutes silence for the death of a battery if they could. ‘The kop remembers’ and all that ‘we are with you’ bollocks.

Similar for me with Scousers. Cannot abide the bin dippers.

Liverpool the club are firmly cemented in my footballing journey, European nights on the box. So congratulations to the team and Klopp.

Just got to not listen to tv and radio for a while.

I'm proud to be a Londoner - even prouder to be a south Londoner. Geordies, Mancs, Tykes, they are all the same in their local pride.
Why shouldn't scousers be proud of Liverpool?

Back where they belong, at the top of the English game.

‘Scouse not English’ is their popular term. Why not be proud of both?

At least their current team and manager are more likeable than Suarez, Carragher, Rodgers etc.

I'm really pleased for the Liverpool players that they were able to watch the game and celebrate together. Forget about the fans, the players deserve the chance to enjoy this.

That filth chucking shit at the Man City coach in Champions League fixture few seasons back, proper bunch of scummy scouse filth .
The tragedy of Heysel is something not easily forgotten .
Too many Liverpool fans down this way and why cos they were glory fans as kids .
Maybe in 30 years there’ll be loads of 40-50 year old Man City fans around London .
Fuck em like winning Champions Leagues and FA Cups isn’t enough for the hard done by twunts

I used to love em as a youngster but the older I’ve got the more they’ve grated on me .

Around 5000 congregated outside anfield last night with flares etc - who fault will it be when there’s a spike of COVID in Liverpool?

Cancelled this years holiday and rebooked for next year.
One major plus in doing this is I will not have to put up with the insufferable Scousers going on about winning the league.
Hopefully next season someone else will win it.

    #anyone but the bin dippers.

Same here except I hated them as a youngster as I supported Man Utd growing up and Liverpool won everything.

Can’t help but like Klopp and they’ve obviously been the best side but despise Liverpool, especially the fans.

As their fans celebrate, I’ll continue to commiserate with fans of Southampton, Norwich, Sheffield Wednesday, Oxford, Coventry, Wimbledon, Luton, Derby, QPR, Blackburn and Palace, who all missed out on the rare or possibly only chance of seeing their teams play European football.

Boycotted the news last night.  Clearly going to have to do so again today.
Little old Charlton going there in 86 for the first time in eons and scouse bastards attacking scarfers on their way back to the coaches. Scum media darlings. At least it wasn't Gerrard or Carragher.

Thats it, rub it in, kick a man while he'd down why dont you ;). Yes, very much so.

2.5 years ago, Spurs tonked the Bin Dippers 4-1 at Wembley.  We destroyed them.  We was ahead of them on and off the pitch.  Head and shoulders above them.  Then they went and spunked £140m on Van Dyke and Allison.  They improved.  Thats what a proper football club does.  Invests and trusts the manager.  Rewarded by winning the CL, the World Club Cup and now the PL.

2.5 years ago was a massive turning point for both clubs.  Liverpool went from strength to strength, Spurs have capitulated.  Alderweirald & Vertoghen's legs have gone, sold Walker, Rose got crocked and looked half the player he was, Eriksen turned into a bottle job, Wanyama died, Dier couldnt play CM, Levy didnt replace Dembele, sold Trippier without bringing in a replacement and still hasnt found a back up striker to cover for Kane.  Oh and who can blame Kane if he f*cls offs from this shit show?

I f*cking hate football.  Bin Dippers banging on about 30 years, it took us that long to beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, let alone win the title lol.  Wont be in my lifetime, accepted that a long time ago.  Our chance was last June in the CL final, which we never turned up for.  Still hurts that does.  A lot.  I'm off to sit in a dark room on my own.  And cry.  A lot.

(Obviously, said tongue in cheek chaps, things could be an awful lot worse, as you guys well know!)
