What a bunch of clowns at the EFL. We know they are going to say no, why don't they just do it.
Given the time taken, I'd be concerned were I them of the media image that huge delay would give to turn round and say no, especially if we're not in the wrong.
Well has long has it been trying to sort out Otzumer? Wouldn't it be ironic that we did try and sign him and they don't allow Oz to play for us as he wasn't a free agent at 5pm on deadline day. Wouldn'it be nice and logical that if we have bid for Oztumer they would deal with Hemed and Otzumer sign for us at the same time or is that too logical?
I know how those in authority in football make these sort of decisions at first hand. I had to provide evidence at a Herts FA hearing last season, and I was told by some old wally on the panel what a word in my statement meant. I explained it had two meanings, and clarified the meaning I meant when I wrote it! He wouldn't stop, I wanted to go up and hit him. I mean, I wrote the bloody thing which put me at an advantage in interpreting the meaning! Which wouldn't have been a good idea. These things in football are complete shams - you need 100% proof and you never get even a fraction of any benefit of the doubt.
If it's a no-no, either the EFL or someone at the club are likely to be on the receiving end of a Roland rant. Hope he doesn't work himself up too much and have a seizure.
As a governance body for football they are not only acting without transparency (normal -behaviour) but they are failing to react to governance issues in an appropriate time scale. This should prove to MP's that they are no longer fit for purpose (as has been suggested by MPs and supporters alike for a long time). This is not a complex decision, either the evidence has been submitted to prove that the transaction was submitted in time or it wasn't. There is a strong arguement that from a plyers perspective they could be acting in restraint of trade particulalrly if the player had performance pay in their proosed package. The clubs affiliated however have accepted these rules regulations and comply by them but the player themself might be able to bring a claim if their earning capacity was restrained.
Registration is now carried out via an online process through iFAS on the CPS.Only in rare cases will it be necessary to email registration documents to the EFL.If documents are sent via email Clubs will receive an automated response when emailing registration documents to playeradmin@efl.com.If you do not receive this auto-acknowledgement, please notify the Player Administration department. The auto acknowledgement is not a confirmation of registration.
In the absence of confirmation by The League confirming a Player’s registration, clubs should always check a player's eligibility by telephone or via iFAS on the CPS.The penalties for playing an ineligible player can be severe – see Regulation 44.2.
43.7 An additional copy of the appropriate registration papers shall at the same time as a copy is despatched to The League be despatched to The Football Association.

It is imperative registration documents are also sent to, and you obtain confirmation of registration from, the Football Association. For those registrations types that are completed online, the system manages that process for you.The reason is that it is the Football Association that is responsible for the application of any applicable FIFA Regulations (for example, confirming whether a player requires an International Transfer Certificate), and will also be able to advise on any ‘work permit’ requirements for overseas players.Separate guidance on those requirements (now known as Governing Body Endorsements) is published on the CPS on a season by season basis – please refer to the Player Administration Section of the service.
For Players requiring international clearance, please note that the FIFA Transfer Matching System operates with a strict deadline at the closure of each Transfer Window.
43.8 Subject to Regulations 43.2, 43.3 and 57, a Player will only be eligible to play in a match organised by The League if the appropriate forms for his registration or the transfer of his registration (including, for the avoidance of doubt, Temporary Loan Transfers) are:
43.8.1 submitted (in such manner as the League shall specify from time to time) to and received by The League by 12.00 noon on the day prior to the date of such match; and

How was it the FA but now the EFL and why are Charlton being so reticent about what is happening?
Hmm I seem to remember Dazzler saying we needed an EFL update... Shame the posters mate is no longer at the EFL.
Busy playing with pocket buddies at Anne Summers instead now...
If transfer fails, blame him.
Surely a conflict of interest.

I am confused as well. Surely the FA have the final decision.
