Using Sky Q for the first time to watch, it has recorded the game for me. Not that I want to watch that one back....Also, I stream the valley pass commentary to my Sonos Beam and then pause the match a bit to sync it up.0
-
So.... With Roland gone, are we gonna see (hear) the return of Mr Peter Finch?0
-
Anyone else trying and failing to get the Valley Pass stream to run?
Not the rights problem I am connecting from Luxembourg. Pretty sure this is Valley Pass problem the page is now not even loading the screen. Anyone?0 -
It's clearly a Valley Pass website issue. The stream appeared for about a minute, then froze, and now cannot reload the page. Pissed off doesn't begin to cover it.1

I didnt think there was a stream during Sky Live games....I cant see the match day pass on the site here0

Sorry Prague, not using VP today due to it being on ESPN here so can't recreate the problem and try to suggest a fix.

I wrote to "them" using the address Terry Smith gave me. They wrote back saying they wouldn't "support" me cos I was using a VPN. Bad move on their part....0

im gonna have a go when genuinely abroad and I’ll bet it doesn’t work on my iPad0 -
The countries listed on the official website are wrong, or at least you can add Cyprus, Hungary and Bermuda to Luxemburg.
Lots of people habitually use a VPN because some systems have virus/scam protection even domestically.0 -
Telling a company you are breaking a Companies T+Cs then expecting support seems a little weird, these companies have contracts they have to adhere to!
Try telling Netflix about using a VPN and see how far you get.0 -

Then let's indeed talk about their T&Cs. As Seth says, and as you know, people don't just use VPNs to disguise true locations, so I will be looking carefully at what T&C I agreed to in that respect. Then I shall look at whether the T&Cs gave me fair warning of how many games I would miss due to rights issues because I live in the Czech Republic. That's important because if you pay £110 and the number of games you can access is reduced from 46 to, say, 38 because of rights, you have been misled about the cost. That is against UK law. Furthermore, despite asking extensively, not one person locally can locate the mysterious Czech content provider who screened this live. Of course not, they have trouble flogging subs for the Czech top league. I've asked this shower to tell me who it is, so I can watch via that provider. But I am sure it does not exist. In which case I have been barred for no reason and they should compensate me.
But as I told them, I just want them to fix it so that I can watch the games I paid for. But they won't because they are obviously a weak two bob outfit.0 -
For Fulham I wrote the five quid off.
After all the club are doing it all out of the goodness of their heart and I look on the five quid like a charitable donation.0 -

I hope that making a kerfuffle about this won't screw it up for everybody.
Basically, anybody can now watch any game they want... And that is amazing...
Making too much fuss (especially when you are breaking the rules) could lead to removal of service for everyone....
And that would be the proverbial cutting off of nose to spite face2 -

And that would be the proverbial cutting off of nose to spite faceYeah this is the danger I guess of contacting them, you've highlighted something which you should not be doing. Saying that, it's easy enough for anyone to find out the IP addresses that each VPN provider owns or rents and they can be blocked. Whilst they should clamp down hard on this it's not really in their best interest.I have an IPTV service that broadcasts the games that are streamed on iFollow on on another clubs service, I'll then stream the valley pass comms to my soundbar and tweak it a bit to get them in sync. It does me.0 -

Just because there's more than one reason for people to use VPNs doesn't stop companies prohibiting thier use, iFollow do it, Valley Pass does it, netflix, bbc, itv, hulu and channel 4 too.
Search the T&Cs, you'll find I'm right, youll also find they never offered you 46 games, broardcasting rights was made very clear, which is one of the reasons I decided to pay game by game.1 -
A list of EFL international broadcast partners is below

Seems ridiculous they cant tell Prague something that can be googled in 10seconds, piss poor customer service.
Ps, Prague, check out this great website, it's really good for finding information

The people I was asked to address are not the EFL, btw...
It would also have been good if the EFL had given the Club that info to pass on, no? If you recall, the first time it happened, the Club knew nothing at all about this situation until 5 mins before KO.1 -
It was a joke, lighten up ffs! I started off by saying it's piss poor customer service from them, although you have to wonder how callum found it if a master of digital marketing couldnt!
Edit: I just found it searching with 3 different phrases using shitty Bing, so I do wonder what you were putting into google in order to not find it?1 -
HELP !!!! ( again!)
Don't miss many away games but today is one...
I'm struggling as to how to access/pay for a matchday Valley Pass which, accordiing to my VP account, I did for the Barnsley match early in the season, paying £10.
I have tried to find the answer for myself via this thread but it's all too much for my old head today.
I did access games using a VPN & ifollow at times last season but thought that indicating you live "abroad" when purchasing enables you to pay for & watch the match live.
Any help gratefully received, thanks, guys.0 -
