Rewatched the West Brom game, just to watch him closely and am convinced that he will be pushing for the England squad by the time of the next WC.
Sounds like a big shout, but the kid has everything, wonderful touch, can pass the all, decent pace, great engine, scores goals, plays on the half turn and always seems to be able to find pockets of space to work in.
What I loved about him was that he was clearly being targeted with some heavy challenges on Saturday, and he wouldn't take the bait - just gave himself a moment to compose himself, got up and got on with the game.
Lampard has already shown that he will give young players a chance, and with another six months of football inside him, I shudder to think what kind of progress CG will have made by then.7 -

Real question is what areas of his game do we think he could improve on?
For me, he sometimes leaves his position exposed to chase down lost causes... So yeah if he could tidy that up a little bit... But that is probably the only thing I would say.
Love him. He can stay for his whole career if he likes.1 -

You could see he had something special about him from his cameo at Ewood Park. Couple of lovely touches and his blocked shot won us the corner that Lyle scored the winner from.
Even since then he has gone on to be far better than anyone (even the coaches at both clubs) could’ve imagined. Sometimes it just clicks for special talents and Gallagher is undoubtedly one of them.3 -

Think if Foden was sold or went on loan to another League team he'd be able to show that he actually deserves to be that replacement
