Hopefully print runs will be addressed and today was a one off. An example of previous employees being asked for advice.
Rubbish decision making, whoever's fault it was. Especially for the first game of the season, with a big effort to get fans in and a special (and more expensive) programme produced
It is a challenge for programmes. You used to get a view from the manager and the chairman but you will already have that thanks to the internet. It is basically a souvenir nowadays. I prefer reading VOTV as it isn't limited to towing the line in its content which makes it more interesting. Mind you, I usually forget my reading glasses so can't read anything!
Can't believe I missed this. I'd have spent a whole afternoon writing a 500 word article. Curbs is and will always be my one and only football hero. Much as I adore Chris Powell, I still reserve 'hero' for Curbs. I wouldn't have become a Charlton fan without what he did for our club because we simply wouldn't have got to the Premier League (which grabbed my attention) and stayed there for so long. For a club with the financial conditions like ours, those achievements are as great as winning the Premier League. Thanks Curbs.

It was strangely in a padded envelope, perhaps the ticket office has run out of A5 normal envelopes to send them out in!
I understand that things ain't what they should be at the moment, glad to know its not just me.

Guess this year the Handbook / Programme wont be a combination for one game
Unless it is being produced for the Wigan game
The option to order through the ticket site doesn't seem to be there this year.
