[cite]Posted By: oohaahmortimer[/cite]what's the story with setanta is it a one off payment for them or are they a pay as you view basis??
Subscription. You'll have to subscribe *in addition* to Sky Sports. (Setanta also includes SPL, Conference, and matches from European leagues, lots of golf, and Gaelic games.)
But Setanta is available on Freeview if your box/TV has a card slot.
Bloody typical, two of the games we will attend from up here in the NW will be live on Sky, thanks Mr M how about adding Burnley, Blackpool, Sheff Wed !
Last year I payed £50 for PPV, this year it will cost £180 for Setanta, and for for two and a half months of that... No Football.
Very well done EU, as usual your idea of opening up competition actually ends up costing the citizen more money, not less. Any one have an idea who to contact at Strasbourg to hear what they have to say about it?

More details
I think pubs will be able to get Sky and Setanta bundled into the one subscription, so you can always go to the boozer instead...
Even if its not on sky cant see the Police allowing it.
