I reckon Palace at home, 07/08, 2-0 victory, Varney with both.

I reckon we sold 1100 away tickets after 4pm Wednesday, when we were told they must be collected at Donny.
So with a maximum of 2 per person, there must be between 550 & 1100 envelopes for collection. Possibly 800 ?

With the collection of tickets and trains getting in a  hour before kick off, I can see a lot of people missing the start.

Good point, that's another thing you want to sort out. Pre order a cab from the station as it's a half hour walk.
Personally, I shall be sitting at the hotel bar supping a couple of pints.

So before you make it out that I said “Not one player from Portsmouth, Sunderland & Charlton would get into Doncaster Rovers team” get your quotes about me right. Very lazy journalism @pn_mark_mcmahon @pn_neil_allen
So what was the right quote then?
They editorialised his quotes to sensationalise what he actually said.

    His quote

"There is no one in our team I'd swap for anyone in any of the other teams in the play-offs,” said Marquis.

"We're going in there as a unit and we'll see what can happen."

Hes saying he wants his guys, his team. He trusts them and thinks they can beat anyone. Hes not saying that each individual player is better than their counterparts in the other players, but its very easy to twist it just slightly to make it seem like thats what he said. People read headlines these days and rarely read the full article. Even when you read the whole article linked previously the paper has already told you what their interpretation of his quote is before you get to the quote so you are pre-conditioned before you read them.

  • Managed to get two tickets yesterday afternoon via the web site.
Now on the task of getting over for the game via Oslo train etc etc
On the email it states the tickets would be sent to my home address . I just assumed that the later tickets would be pick up only for Doncaster ground.
Are the tickets being posted out or is the email a standard email ?
I have a confirmation number can I use that to claim ticket at Doncaster or do I need to wait for last post on Saturday I. Hope tickets turn up ?

i hope someone can help many thanks

It’s postal or collection. If you’ve had a postal email that would suggest they have been posted. I would phone the club who can confirm.

Fingers crossed it’s collection at the ground
