oi henry - the official site and season tickets

the rolling banner across the top is advertising adult season tickets available from £315...however, the way i read it, when you go on the season ticket page the only adult season tickets that go for £315 are in the n and nw, which are sold out or is it that there are tickets still available in the lower north ?...doesn't the sale of goods act or whatever state somewhere that if goods are offered at a price the seller has to honour it ?

  • Good times, can we please go back to addressing Henry as "OI HENRY". I don't like too much change in my life.
  • That's a bit rich coming from someone who wanted to pretend to close the East Stand to boost ST sales ;- )

I don't know is the answer. I'll ask and get back to you.

    Oi! Red Pete, behave ; - )
  • There are some seats left in the Lower North so they are the £315 tickets mentioned. Bargain
  • Henry, have you got any idea when i'll get my £160 back from switching stands?

    Thanks
  • do you think that there are still some seats left in the lower north at that bargain price because people might do what i did when they read the sold out bit and think that all the £315 s/tickets are no longer available ?...or was it just me that got it wrong ?...
  • don't worry, they've done it today!
  • [cite]Posted By: WSS[/cite]Henry, have you got any idea when i'll get my £160 back from switching stands?

    Thanks

Write out 100 times "The away end is called the Jimmy Seed Stand" and I might tell you. ; - )

Don't know that either. Try tickets@cafc.co.uk but most likely it's been put behind the bar in the pub for next Thursday's CL drink.

Yes, cos the ticket office just told me that.
  • let me rephrase that....do you think that THE REASON there are still some seats left in the lower north at that bargain price IS because people might do what i did when they read the sold out bit and think that all the £315 s/tickets are no longer available AND THEREFORE DONT BOTHER APPLYING FOR ONE ?...£315 for a season ticket to 23 gaems is a bargain in anybody's money...they should have all gone by now..
  • You could read it that way but it says North £315 Upper sold out which implies the lower isn't sold out. If you wanted a ST you would read it and then ring to check surely not just not bother.

Maybe the upper is more popular than the lower, maybe people have moved to other parts of the ground, maybe the lower north has more Prem fans who didn't want to renew. Come August there is likely to be a last minute rush to get a ST (there normally is) and those seats will most likely go first IMHO

When the upper north opened- many of the lower north moved upstairs- then a lot of season ticket holders from the Jimmy Seed stand (which i presume would have been the newer season ticket holders) relocated in the Lower North.
  • Oi! Henry. In the British Isles if you were to sell your house and invest it in (valley) gold you could afford to go on holiday, possibly to watch the Ketman while you waited for your season ticket to turn up.
