My thoughts exactly. Could be one of those seasons where we look back at the near misses like Coventry x2 games or Sunderland first day of season and think ‘if only’. Need to win all our remaining 5 and have a large slice of luck, still Sunderland have a tough run in and may start to flag with two games a week.

I think this weekend may be the critical game. Portsmouth and Sunderland have harder run ins, and they’ve got to play each other. Us and Barnsley have it easier on paper.
If we can get a win against Luton, I think we’ll be right in the mix.
Maybe too late for automatic promotion but while it's possible have to keep trying for it.
If not we go into play-offs with momentum, an inform penalty saving keeper and a nearly full fit squad.

Wycombe's form is the worse in the league over the last six matches. Pearce is a great captain but you can't just walk back into a defence that has conceded so few goals this year Sarr's been superb for the last 20 matches.
From some of the comments sounds like Igor played well. Could be crucial if he can add a goal or 2 between now and the end of the season. Well done boys. Got to keep going for 2nd until its mathematically impossible
Ran his socks off and looked pretty sharp, though he never actually had a chance to get on the score sheet.

We look incredibly solid at the moment. Only conceded 8 goals in last 16 games, which of course means we have now kept 8 clean sheets this calendar year alone. 33 points picked up in that time too.
We have a goal scorer up front. We have a great midfield with players who didn’t even play this evening still to come in. We have a defence who are rock solid and hard to break down which includes the match winner tonight and we don’t even know if he will play on Saturday, how good is that. That’s without mentioning how good Phillips has been too. I want to mention Vetokele as well, I thought he was very sharp tonight, let’s hope that carries on for the rest of the season.
We of course have an incredibly difficult game on Saturday and we must play a bit better if we are to win that and end Luton’s run. But without their main man, with the crowd behind us, at home, knowing we just have to go out and win the game, I think we can and will do it.
Teams above us will drop points, whether that will be enough is another matter. But we must just concentrate on our job and see where it takes us. Another win ticked off.
Certainly makes saturdays game all to play for and regardless of autos we need to keep winning to have right approach to play offs. Dillon Phillips disliked by Robinson but now loved by us all.
Watched on iFollow. Enjoyed that performance. Wycombe were spirited and always in the game, just didn't have the guile upfront or our midfield class.
Thought I saw distinct signs of the old Igor tonight. Certainly the Wycombe commentators thought so.
Defence (very much including Dillon) was outstanding, even if Dijksteel sometimes looked a bit uncertain.
Haven't seen enough of Josh Cullen, thought he was outstanding.
Aribo, classiest player on the pitch but distinct signs of selfishness, reckon the Lord will be clamping down on that.
Does have a bit of the 1998 feel about it now, confidence and belief is apparent, keeper on a roll, manager making all the right calls; just don't like the idea of Sunderland waiting for us at Wembley again, lightning doesn't strike twice, etc...

There were a lot of tired legs out there, especially towards the end, but every one of them put in a shift against what looked like screaming muscles to get the points. It was physical, and anybody who knows even a bit about football would respect Akinfenwa tonight, he was the focus around which Wycombe huffed and puffed, and we had to work hard, were required to work hard, to keep Wycombe at bay. Phillips continues his superb form and their commentators couldn't stop praising his kicking and distribution. The back four were grisly strong in a physical battle, none of them prepared to be bested with Pearce the shining example. That Pearce played so well and also scored the only goal one would expect him to be our best player, but it was the guy who assisted the goal who edged it in my view. mainly because he was consistently good for the whole game, often stepped in where a vital touch was needed and other players flagged a little. Take a bow Josh Cullen. In general other players were who they are if you get me. Bauer strong, Djiksteel strong and assertive too, Purrington doing his trusty reliable stuff, Pratley did a bit, George improved and as the game went on learned to grind it like the rest of them, Aribo looked tired and dulled but still classy. Up front Taylor led with a typical performance, and if Igor could have dug out another 10% from somewhere at times he might have scored. Igor kept them occupied enough to buy time and space for others. There was a moment just before half time when a Wycombe player was completely free and about to receive the ball in the box, but somehow he was tackled by the ghost of Les Berry! Great result against the background of awesome non-stop support. Get the liniment on and prepare for Saturday where Luton may be less tired than us, this is the business end of things now, no doubt about that.
Watched on I-Follow .. Charlton were very average and didn’t really create a great deal. The defence were outstanding despite Anfernee being a little flaky. But top marks go to the fans. OUTSTANDING performance lads and lasses. Didn’t stop singing all match and was noted by the commentators. Onwards and upwards towards the weekend. Seen somewhere that Luton are without their first choice strikers. With a bit of luck and fair wind, 2ns spot ain’t out of the question, is it?
Akinfenwa was a right headache all game. With him out there Wycombe always had a chance. Pearce did well against him but it looked like it could have been a better match up when Sarr came on. They're about the same size anyway.

We're blessed with three excellent Centre-Backs in Bauer | Pearce | Sarr... If Page was fit then I'd suggest going 3-5-2 but wonder if Purrington has that ability to play Wing Back
Yes Sarr has been magnificent himself the last 20-odd games but you can only go on the last one and on that showing its difficult to drop either him or Pearce as both played well tonight (Sarr having a good cameo in what would have been a difficult game to join) - In all I dont envy the job Bowyer has on his hands dropping one of them and think that we have to go as per the opposition, there will be times when Sarr will be better suited to the team we're facing, there will be times when we need Pearce... Ultimately think (unless we lose due a mistake of theirs) we need to trust Lee's judgement on whoever starts out of each
You could also say that our best CB is none of those three.

I will be amazed if Sarr, Williams, Bielik, Solly and Reeves don't come back into the side for Luton. Reeves maybe from the bench for Williams after 70 minutes
Yes we have an outside shot at the autos, but i think we need to try finish fourth as minimum. I hope we get Barnsley in the play offs with the 2nd leg at home
