    Edit: I'm not having a very good evening
  • Manchester City's last six games have yielded no wins and one draw. San Marino's last six have yielded two wins and one draw.
  • Result from the Women's FA Cup;
    Itchington 0 Forest 19
  • Since 4 Feb 2024 Sheffield Wednesday have won the same amount of games (two) at Hull City's stadium as Hull have.
  • Heard on the radio this evening that only one of the 92 Premiership and EFL teams is currently in a constituency held be the Conservatives!

    Even that one was only held by 300 votes. Any guesses on the team?

    Bromley?
  • Yeah, was mentioned a bunch on here
  • Justin Kluivert is the first player for 67 years to score a hat-trick of penalties in the top flight.

    There have been 4 other players in the PL to take 3 penalties in a match but none scored all 3.
  • In Derbyshire back in 1998 Mickleover Lighting Blue Sox beat Chellaston Boys 2-1 on penalties after a 1-1 draw. Nothing unbelievable in that anyone would think. However the penalty shoot-out lasted for 66 penalties in total

    This was quite unbelievable until I found out it was an u10’s game.

    Not sure about them but the majority of penalty takers joined us over time via Luton

    For an U10's match around '98' it would've been 7 a side, roll on, roll off subs and most importantly, small goals ! There was no offsides until U11's and the bigger pitches and goals plus 11 aside.

    3 scored in 66 attempts is crazy and could just be big lumps in goal who fill out the target like a Hockey keeper.
  • When Enzo Maresca took over the job at Chelsea many of us thought he was on a hiding to nothing. Chelsea had far too many players and keeping them all happy would be very difficult, nigh impossible. He seemed to cope very well, sorted out the difficult Rahim Sterling situation, prioritised his squads, one for the Prem and one for Europe  Now he is quite rightly receiving plaudits all round as Chelsea sit 2nd in the table while a lot of people thought Chelsea would really struggle this season.
     However here is an interesting stat, his first 15 games for Chelsea have brought him 31 points. Pochettino’s last 15 games yielded 32 points.
  • Man City have 2 former players who have become presidents of their home nation.

    And Kyle Walker is an acting president.
