I never knew Norms surname, but always knew him as headphones Norm.
This fella has been at away matches for as long as I can remember, and it almost wouldn’t feel right or normal if he wasn’t at a game.
They say never meet your heroes, well, I got on a train recently and Norm was on it, I was so awestruck I didn’t know what to say to the fella, so Norm I apologise, your sir are a true charlton legend, with great style in headphones!
Always look out for Norm on a northern away trip though he wouldn't know me if I walked into him.
Lovely write up. The only thing puzzling me is that I think our ending of Huddersfield's unbeaten run was a tad more than two years ago. Would love to do the same to Luton, though.

Remember seeing him a few years back, completely on his own, walking purposefully down Ilderton Road near The New Den.....headphones blaring, fur hat and red scarf totally in evidence, in a world of his own......as if to say “fuck you lot, I’m a proud Addick.”
