  • We really live in a fucked up world.
  • Utterly depressing particularly if it's the work of another white supremacist.

    Very very sad.

Awful news, but the sort of retaliation which was sadly predictable, with the small number of lunatics around the world looking for an excuse, even if the location wasn't.

People have died in a terrorist attack. It's depressing regardless of the background of the perpetrator.
Yes that's obvious. I was just concerned that the guy in New Zealand was spurring on a copycat attack. That was the point I was trying to make which obviously wasn't clear.

White supremacists, Muslim extremists etc who carry out terrorist attacks against innocent bystanders are all worthy of equal condemnation. The big fear in the current climate is copycat attacks or acts of retaliation.

A sad day for Utrecht following on from events in Christchurch.

Think, sadly, you'll find there are more than a "small number of lunatics" around the world mate.

    Apparently Utrecht was a domestic.

[Edit: That was a tip off apparently. Not confirmed]

Dutch  prosecutors are suggesting it was a terrorist attack, none of the victims were known to the attacker.

As James Seed posted, there was speculation it was a domestic, so an important clarification to say that the victims weren't known to the killer..

Perhaps it's best not to speculate on issues like this.

Speculation has previously caused severe distress and harm to individuals.
