Tragic death of Gillingham protest banner pilot

I was saddened today to hear of the death of pilot Simon Moores who was tragically killed in a plane crash in Portugal this week.

Simon was the pilot of the plane that towed our "Duchatelet & Meire #Time To Fly" banner over Priestfield Stadium in October 2016. I never met him in person but he was a helpful, willing and friendly collaborator in bringing that particular protest to fruition.

I'm sure that all you addicks will join me in expressing our respect and appreciation to Simon, and our condolences to his family and friends. RIP.
