    ..... like many other jobs.

    Although, it's great to know that the only 'financially worthwhile' jobs in the future will be in compliance & finance. The rest of us will be eating scraps in the gutter thrown out by them.

    Just looked at that as well and it turns out you can’t. You have to work for TFL in some form as they only advertise internally. No tube driver jobs advertised externally since 2008.

    not entirely true. they took external applications for part time drivers on the night tube in recruitment drives in 2016 and 2017. 2 days/15 hours work for around 23k when worked out pro rata

    however a lot of the 2017 applicants are still on a wait list and were told last week that it'll be another 12 months before training starts

    it's certainly not easy to get into though
