Steer: 6.5 - What a weird day for him. His kicking was poor. He literally didn't have a shot to save, but he came and claimed well.
Dijksteel: 7 - All over the place. At times great, at others not. There's a really good football player on there I just suspect we'll never see it with any consistency while he's only allowed to play RB.
Bauer: - 8 dealt with everything.
Pearce: 7.5 - Solid. He can get turned though

Fosu-Henry: 9.5 - There he is!!!! I don't think it's a coincidence that he started deeper giving himself more space to run in to. Did a good job getting in to passing lanes and starting attacks. Worldie of a goal. Great assist. Only blot on his copy book was under hitting the ball to Reeves that was too square after that lovely turn.
Taylor: 7 Dropped off and linked up well. A really good professional performance from him.
Ajose: 6.5- Nothing quite came off for him. You can tell he wants it so badly and he takes up good positions. He dovetails well with Taylor. Just had one of those days. I'm sure he'll get some 3s and 4s but he was no worse than Karlan had been on a few occasions this season. It happens when you're a forward. Him pulling out wide in the final third give Fosu and Reeves so much more space to run in to. I've long felt that Grant and Taylor and Fosu all want to take up such similar positions that Fosu in particular can get crowded out, and I think Ajose helped alleviate that.
Any marks under 8.5 for Fosu??? I can only imagine those people missed the whole first half. Scored a worldie, set up the first, smashed the underside of the bar and laid on a few chances for others. Was genuinely unplayable for 45 mins

It is hard as football is a game of opinions, but when you get ridiculous opinions you have to question some people's knowledge of the game. But maybe LL pressed the wrong key - give him the benefit. I watched and I-Follow and the Gills commentators were saying Fosu was the best player on the pitch.
