Referee: Inconsistent, shocking decision cost Mansfield our 3 rd goal even if he was right to change his mind and they switched off a bit
Phillips: 6 Ok, but their finishing was poor
Dijksteel: 5 Wins the ball well gives it away tamely far to often. i think he will improve just need to calm down
Bauer: 7 Solid enough one very good saving tackle 1 st half
Sarr: 7 Captain fantastic, was solid all night
Stevenson: 6 Quite 1st half came more into it second, as they all did
Pratley: 5 I thought he had poor game. Didn't close down generally a very dozy performance
Lapslie: 6 Started and finished brightly, did rather disappeared for and hour in the middle of the match. I think him and Pratley may have pop off down the pub for a hour
Clarke: 6 Good in parts gave the ball away 2-3 time in very dangerous areas. Not unsurprisingly generally seemed to lack match focus
Fosu: 6 Expected a bit from him, nothing really wrong just a bit meh
Taylor: 9 Ok I know it wasn't the toughest game of the season, but bloody hell, head and shoulders the best player out there. Even booked when tackling back. That was the level of his desire last night
Ajose: 7 Lazy at time, but you cant argue with a goal and two assists. Nicky take a look back at the match video, put in the same effort and desire of Taylor and you will start every week. Grant has leaned from Taylor.
Sarpong-Wiredo: Quite impressed, made a real nuisance of himself.

Referee: 5 - was ok until the 3rd goal.
Phillips: 7 - Caught his crosses and made a save.
Dijksteel: 6 - Was a bit sluggish at times but also strong when he got into close contact.
Bauer: 7.5 - Looked slow at times but won his headers and made one exceptional goal saving sliding challenge. Good performance given that he's been out.
Sarr: 8 - Very classy on the ball. Always seemed to have that extra second to pick the right pass. Headed well.
Stevenson: - 7 Like the 1st game, he got better as the match wore on. He did a good job although he got skinned a couple of times.
Pratley: 6 - Did ok but looks a bit off the pace.
Lapslie: 8 - Ran out of energy in the away game but not last night. Did some very nice first time touches as well as getting his tackles in. Very promising.
Clarke: 7 - Sometimes wasn't tight enough in midfield and we will miss Cullen for that. But on the ball he looked class.
Fosu: 7 - Had spells where he looked like the player of last season. He needs a couple of goals at The Valley to get him going but he's getting there.
Taylor: 9 - Three excellent striker's goals. Liked the way he popped to right-back in the last couple of minutes when Wiredo was off on one.
Ajose: 8 - Pinpoint balls for Taylor's goals and lovely 1-2 for the first. Stayed very calm for his goal.
Sarpong-Wiredo: 6.5 - I liked what I saw. Out of position the moment he came on resulting in a Mansfield chance at the near post but thereafter, he got stuck in and got forward really well.
