Get down to the Gills and sign Holy and Eaves who are both out of contract in the summer and have said they will not sign new contracts.
Bloody good investment RD you tosser. Speculate to accumulate . Lol

Holy is not what we need. Just a big dollop
He'll be fine if we sign Ivy to keep him company  .

My guess is Beckles from Shrewsbury - played very well against us on multiple occasions last year.

I’d take him all day long

looks like from the papers that Steer loan recall is only for 1 game

If he plays for them in that game is he allowed to be loaned out again?

    I would imagine so.

Charlton is the only club he can play for this season.

I wonder if Mark Bunn may come in as a replacement.

Sources close to Thomas Dreisen said " this is player we've been monitoring for sometime, only to find he's now retired and bought a soccer club in the USA "

Hope thats not true, we dont need a 18 year old untried midfielder.

We have Reeves, Fosu and Clarke all who play in his position

Patience mate... Steve and Lee have shown their ability to sign players this summer

I dont think we'll see them bringing in anyone who cant improve the squad this January for the sake of it

I thought I saw Lionel Messi ordering a pasty at half time, but he changed his mind when he saw the price.

People on Facebook are suggesting it's Jonny Williams.

He is made of glass... Would fit in perfectly. Great player when fit, mind you

Good player and from the Sunderland Netflix doc, seems a lovely lad. Is really popular with the Wales team too.
But as has been said, very injury prone.

Williams might be a Nigel and may always be injured, but he was born in Pembury and is a Kent lad, so ok by me. Plus he can play a bit.

And there will be no sale of any major players in this window and i understand a bid of £2m has been turned down for one already - probably best i don't name him - just passing on what i know - as always.

Absolutely no way has anybody bid 2 million for any of our players.

I'm not sure what is harder to believe there, someone bidding 2m for one of our players.......or RD turning it down.

    3 reasons:
1 - None of our players are worth 2 million
    2 - Roland wouldn't have rejected 2 million
3 - The only prat out there who would bid 2 million for one of our players (as their not worth that) is Katrien, and Roland wouldn't have rejected her offer.

Do you really believe that Taylor is not worth £2m?

The last bit about £2 million fits in with what I have been told. Didn’t hear that a bid had actually been tabled but certainly that it was on the cards.

Sort of in agreement with 1990, who would bid 2 mill for one of our players, Taylor's valuation doesn't meet that and I don't think Roland would reject that much anyway and Aribo and Grant out of contract in the summer?

To us players like the 3 mentioned and Bauer are priceless but for another club I think 2 mill is a big chunk
