Horrifying new crisp flavour

Really Walkers, what were you thinking??

Has anyone tried these? A friend had a pack, I was so shocked that they existed I had to take a picture.

they were probably thinking that this would happen - discussions about their product. Looks like they were right!

Tried them - they did taste a bit like sprouts but not that nice (I like sprouts). A bit of salt might help.

only old people like ready salted (which can only be consumed in hula hoop or chipstick form ) ready salted are just dull

    cheese and onion for me

They are a little green too - but the flavour is a bit too synthetic.
  • Anyone remember hedgehog flavour crisps? They were really good.

I like sprouts, they are nice and peppery .. not too sure about artificial sprout flavouring though

Best crisps I have had would be McCoys Thai Sweet Chicken. I'd have a go at eating my own bodyweight in those. Ready salted are a bit bland.

HATE Brussel sprouts. For me the most disgusting tasting things on the planet. Could understand it if they were eaten all-year round but no - just at Christmas (for most people). Even the smell of them boilng away makes me gag. Yuuukh!!!

Iceland are doing Christmas tree flavoured crisps.

I suspect that’s because there’s no actual Brussel Sprout in them.

I eat sprouts anytime. Lovely vegetable if cooked correctly.

  • If only they were out when the crisp packet protest was taking place.

Boiling would be the problem. As it was with my own mother, who boiled any vegetable she could lay her hands on. Only in recent years have I discovered that sprouts are actually not repulsive if you so much as fry them instead

Iceland are doing Christmas tree flavoured crisps.

Had to look that up, apparently made with oil from pine needles

Do not cut the silly cross at the bottom of a Brussel sprout.
Cut them in half and mix them with chopped up streaky bacon and chestnuts.
    Perfect

Love brussel sprouts. One of only a few veggies I actually like.
  • Boil for two minutes. Cut in half and fry with cut up streaky bacon.

I can't help but think it's all about publicity rather than product. Frankly Walkers, if you want some good publicity, pay your bloody taxes!
  • Iceland are doing Christmas tree flavoured crisps.

Iceland are doing orangutan flavoured crisps.
  • Boiling is the issue, slice them like a fckin ninja, walnut oil, bacon lardons, chopped salted cashew nuts.

Christmas and any special roast staple.

Marks and Sparks are selling winter berry and sparkling Prosecco flavour crisps. I can’t begin to think what they taste like. (I’ll give it thirty seconds before someone says winter berries and sparkling Prosecco) but you get my drift.

I like my sprouts with roasted chestnuts - a nice helping of salt is essential. MMMMMMMMMM
