A sweet strike, but Dillon could’ve done better with that goal?

Id been calling for his returm during Steer's bad patch of form - Havent been overly impressed with him today and understand a bit why Bowyer hasnt made the change
    Or he's a bit rusty?

Well that's another Cup run over before we start.

Over 50 years of support and only 3 QFs in that time. Pathetic.

    MU, Bolton and Leicester?
    Sheffield United not Leicester

If we lose this, we are going to take it out on Swansea's U-21s on Tuesday. They had better be ready for a good hiding.

I have a feeling if we lose this next big game is actually on Tuesday week.
Never trust the BBC website. I could have been standing in an empty stadium on Tuesday and wondered where the other 50 people were.

Will we ever see CAFC play in an FA cup tie in January?

Nah definitely Bolton - think it was that game that made Curbs buy Fish and Jensen

What’s wrong with our midfield? Why can’t we keep the ball?

Average age of 11, and no one up front to hold the ball up and build attacks around. We really badly miss Lyle Taylor, and it’s exaggerated by just how bad and unsuitable as a replacement for him Ajose is.

Age only partly responsible though, Pratley has had the worst passing of all and he is nearly at pensionable age.

For sure if can get back to the Championship

    Oh yes... Forgot Operation Riverside

    A few things.

Ajose is a complete waste of space, get him off. Pratley is having an absolute shocker, must have given the ball away about five times when not even under pressure.

Phillips has to do better with that. At least get a hand to it.

Bowyer needs to make changes NOW at half time.

    We can still win this

We will get a few chances to score no doubt about that but our midfield treats the ball like a hot spud.

I can't be the only one that thinks were not playing that badly? Could've easily have had 2 or 3

Just lumped on at 9-1. Fosu has to start second half.

You could also say, players weren't moving for some of those passes.

Of course, Leicester was 5th round, Dion Dublin scored.

This is awful. Maloney the worst of a very bad bunch.

Late to the party, the league is priority. Honestly what do we expect with 9 changes. I feel for the travelling fans I really do but we will be better off out of it given the injury situation. No dramas for me.

Good goal that gave Phillips no chance. Dijksteel at fault for not closing him down at all.

Some very poor misses by Lapslie and Grant and the midfield is awful with Lapslie, Marshall, Maloney and Pratley giving the ball away far too easily.

Predicted a defeat and still think that was bang on...

I think for the first 20mins both sides were struggling with the pace of the opposition Strikers... Mansfield have sorted themselves out though and slowly began to dominate the game

We've not been helped by Phillips' distribution which has been all over the place and as Mansfield has taken control its meant the ball has been coming straight back

Middlesbrough was definitely QFs when we lost 4-2 in the replay.

I think a lot of people expected another Stevenage type performance, not taking into account that Mansfield are actually an ok side.

Spot on. I'd forgotten about Bolton.

I take it all back. Far from pathetic.

Although to be fair to Ajose, holding the ball up is not his role.
There's no replacement for Lyle Taylor in the squad - except maybe Reeco Henry-Lovechild, perhaps?
