Marcus Browne (Oxford United) wins a free kick in the defensive half.

Whose defensive half, there’s or ours, stop being so fancy football commentatorish, just say our half/their half ;)
BBC quote, normally when it says defensive half it is the fouled players half
  • Gabe supposedly kicked off at 7.45. 2 minutes added time. First half finishes at 8.35.

Late every week. Buy a new clock Roland
  • Switching to Valley Pass and muting these commentators second half.

Very Average from Charlton and poor from Oxford so far.

100% we'll see a red for Oxford in this game.
  • Need a quick second so the result is a 2-0 like Barnsley rather than a 1-2 like Coventry.
  • Deserved lead at half time. Playing some good stuff and forwards have the beating of the Oxford defence. Pratley very solid at centre half.

HT: @CAFCofficial 1-0 #OUFC. Charlton lead at the break thanks to Lyle Taylor's penalty after Eastwood brought down Reeves. It's been fairly even apart from that, although the home side have had the better chances.
  • 7th as it stands and only four points behind 2nd.

Pompey running away with the league at the moment.
  • Not a bad first half from Charlton, would say the goal came against the run of play though... Felt most of the half was spent in our half and despite a few forays forward it wasnt sticking as weve three players who want to run on to the ball yet there is no one to put the ball in those areas.

Goal has changed everything though and Oxford have lost a lot of confidence since going behind, maybe should have gotten two more and hope it dont cost us... Holmed hasnt done much and wouldnt get in our side on this performance

Best aspect from Charlton today has been the battle between Pearce and Mackie, been worth the entrance fee to watch those two, whilst Solly appears to be rolling back the years

They are awful aren't they? Trouble is valley pass commentary is in front of the iFollow pictures so you know what is going to happen!
  • I may be wrong but I think Katy’s former personal security officer David Badjumper just escorted the officials from the pitch at half time.

  • Surprising to see Barnsley losing again
  • As it stands we are 3 points behind the mighty Stanley with a game in hand, Bowyer is indeed working miracles.

    They are awful.
    But I like them.
  • Need a 2nd - we've been a bit wasteful round the 18 yard box.

Oxford not offering much but still in the game.

They're awful but fair, they were surprised Mackie didn't get booked for the challenge on Cullen*

Pause valley pass for a couple seconds then press play again, should sync up then.

  • According to the beeb stats, they have had slightly more posession and same number of shots.
    But we have the lead.
