    The problem is that people have such an affection for the series it is going to be difficult for the musical not to disapoint. It was the same with the dad's army movie - I watched about 10 minutes of it and kept thinking how much better it would be with the original actors in it!

    The dad's army film would have been better with an improved script and a couple of jokes in it as well.
