    He was a sound engineer not a producer, Sir George Martin was the Beatles producer.

    RIP, 2 years after Sir George Martin passed away, not many people left now who worked with the Beatles

    First heard of him when he engineered one of Elvis Costellos' albums, in an interview EC dropped in that he had engineered Sgt Pepper and many,many other memorable ditties. I guess he'll go down as one of the unsung heroes of rock music.
