There was a call on Radio London last night from a fan who heard her voice whilst in the V&A. She recognised it instantly and turned around to check; there was Fenella in a museum uniform. Apparently she took on a job as museum tour guide to keep herself occupied. Sounds like a great lady.
R.I.P. Fenella. I had the pleasure of meeting her years ago she was absolutely charming and exactly as she appeared on screen. It's often forgotten that she was a very talented classical actress with many leading roles in the theatre and of course was the (uncredited) voice of the Village in the Prisoner.

Up the Khyber is by far the best.
I’m talking about films not people. Just got back from the pub have we?

She was a good actress, she made one Carry on film and refused to do anymore, I thought she had a very sexy voice
