  • If they avoid defeat at City, then i guess people will start talking about whether they can go the whole season unbeaten.
  • Im still not ruling spurs out. They fucked up today but still think they will push liverpool and city.

Spurs putting the pressure on (but actually winning nothing) for what seems like the seventh consecutive season.

Neither Murphy or Shearer think Mane should face retrospective action.

Of coursr he sould, he put his hands around another players throat

Same incident, different angle - Lichsteiner elbows Mane in the face prior to Mane’s reaction:

Both players should face the same level of punishment, if at all.

That's a great fact. Jimmy Carter will be relieved that their careers didn't overlap.

    William McKinley.
    John F. Kennedy.
    William Howard Taft.
    Theodore Roosevelt.

A list of presidents who all stopped shots during their term.

Burnley 1 win in last 12 games before today.

Drop Joe Hart and bring back Heaton
Burnley 2-0 West Ham after 35 minutes

Any of our ex-players in for Burnley?
  • Gudmundsson has played the full game so far 7 mins left
  • Danny Ings (7 goals in 14 appearances this season) must wonder what he's done wrong. Austin (3 in 16) starts and then the Saints' Manager brings on Long, instead of Ings, for him - a so called "forward" who has scored 8 goals in his last 110 games for Club and Country!

Shit for brains by Hojbjerg for Southampton.
3-1 down with 8 minutes left and he jumps into a high tackle with studs showing and clears out Fernandinho. Red card and 3 matches, crazy.

It's almost as if he just wanted to spend the New Year back home in Denmark!

3 wins from 3 since Mourinho got the sack and Pogba scoring for fun.

It's a funny old game as greavsy would say

Heaton's first start for 467 days. So, Burnley, when Nick Pope is fit will have Heaton, Hart, Pope and Anders Lindegaard.
Given Steer's possible departure perhaps we could ask Burnley to lend us one of them!

Pope Close to being fit as well
Played for under 23s last week.

Hart will soon find himself 3rd choice, but who is 1st choice a fully fit Pope or Heaton
  • I know people are saying Solskjaer is too inexperienced, but the way he's got them playing he should be in the mix for the job

Spurs fans will be as pleased with these results as anyone. Those Pochettino rumours have disappeared fast

United look ridiculous going forward. Still shaky at the back though.

    Danny Mills springs to mind.
