@LennyLowrent, spelling police here. Any chance you can change the thread title to ‘child bearing’ rather than ‘child baring’?
Slightly different meanings to the two words confused the hell out of me until I read the posts.
Still not sure I understand what the ‘optional, not compulsory’ means either. Do you mean as big bad world says that the name is generally used for females but not exclusively?
And it’s the name not the song that is the draw?
It’s been a bit draining at work today and brain not working so well. Frazzled.
Good golly miss Molly - little Richard Cecilia - Simon and Garfunkel Susan’s house - eels
All great songs with good (generally) girls names.
Can’t think of songs with some of my favourite girls names in.

Any parent in this hemisphere would vouch that child barring was the all mighty's original intention before Darwin got involved with his fake news.
With correct spelling, would Claude Debussy still write 'Claire de lune'?
or 'Claire de Tesco'...
1.waltz for Debbie - Bill Evanse 2. Fur Elise - Beethoven 3. Maxine - Donald Fagen
The change in thread title has saved some violent triggery this morning.
For that alone I'm humbly grateful.
Bollox!!!! The thread title is still shite & @LennyLowrent’s comment makes no freakin’ sense either!!!
It may well still be considered to be shite but it's unequivocally more encompassing and definitively less divisive towards those that feel marginalised by todays societal norms when it comes to identity.
We can all agree that this is a huge step in the right direction for humanity.
