I think yesterday was a spectacular result ...considering how thin and terribly looked after our squad is....due to the absolute weird strange wanker that owns the club. The man that isn't really from earth.

We may drop a lot of points but if we just take every game that comes and put everything into those games, then we might just do ok this season.

It's now rather hard to predict when Roland's going to actually sell the club. It's all got rather random confusing bollocks-ish and strange.

    Well done Charlton...keep it up.

I have faith in Bowyer, I think he might be a natural but the job itself might be rather a bit too tough for pretty much anyone.

    Phillips: 7 - solid
Solly: 6.5 - did pretty well throughout
Bauer: 7 - an authoritative presence at the back
Sarr: 7 - a couple of shaky moments in the first half but better in the second and passed the ball out really well
Page : 5.5 - one great run in the first half but off the pace in the second
Marshall: 4.5 - a weak first half although, in mitigation (a little thin, I accept), he was playing on his weaker side. I can see why Lee Bowyer didn't want to stick Lapslie on the left in only his second game
Pratley: 8 - gave us some much needed steel in midfield and had a horse of a game in the second half
Aribo: 7 - an outstanding first half, faded a little in the second, although a neat interchange with Lapslie for the first goal
Lapslie: 7 - a strong all round performance
Taylor: 7.5 - starved of service in the first half but really troubled them in the second with his strength and hold-up play. Took his goal well and a fine, all round display of centre forward play. If he stays injury free, he's going to score a lot of goals for us
Grant: 7 - good movement and pace throughout. Only turns 21 this month and seems to be getting it together
Morgan: 8 - an excellent and remarkably assured debut. Found space behind the front two and gave us real impetus in the second half.

Phillips: 7 Smart save at his left hand post to keep us in it. Sent KAG on his way with a fine low punt. No chance with the goal. Not sure why he appears to be this season's Charlton Life scapegoat.

Solly: 7 Steady performance from Pat Cash in his headband. Showed what a classy versatile player he is when moved from right back in the second half. Maybe could have done better when Shrewsbury equalised but that was the only potential blemish.

Bauer: 6 Outpaced early on and didn't look quite the solid assured player he did towards the end of last season to me. Maybe he missed Jason Pearce alongside him or maybe he was thinking about his move to the Championship.

Sarr: 6.5 Steady and a couple of decent passes to send Lapslie and Morgan on their way.

    Page : 6.5 Steady

Marshall: 6 Industrious but little or no end product.

Pratley: 7 Grew into the game making some significant interventions and a magnificent cross under pressure for KAG's goal.

Aribo: 7.5 Worked very hard particularly in the first half and physically competed helping out the defence when they struggled with Shrewsbury's pace.

Lapslie: 7.5 Cannot help but like this lad. He wears his heart on his sleeve and gave everything to the cause. Raw still but that positive, committed attitude will take him a long way.

Taylor: 7 Quiet as not much service but like all good strikers took his chance when it came.

Grant: 7.5 Worked hard and offered a constant threat when given the opportunity. Denied a one on one opportunity by a very good tackle by a lunging Shrewsbury defender but like Taylor when he got his chance he got it. Narrowly shades MOM for me from Aribo and Lapslie because of his goal.

Morgan: 7 Impressive debut from a youngster who immediately took responsibility for deadballs and seems to have a football brain as exemplified by his deft chip through to Pratley just before Grant's goal.

Phillips: 7 looked much more comfortable, done well
Solly: 7.5 saved us once big time and I like him in a back three
Bauer: 7 solid enough, didn’t do anything wrong
Sarr: 7.5 progressive centre back, looks good in a back three
Page: 6.5 more quiet game, good enough still
    Marshall: 5 ineffective unfortunately
    Pratley: 7.5 great assist
Aribo: 8.5 best player on the pitch for me
Lapslie: 7.5 fantastic home league starting debut, put in real shift
Taylor: 7.5 two in two, we have a real striker on our hands
Grant: 7.5 really great performance and scored the winner
Morgan: 7 should be proud of that 45 mins, helped us change the game. Good set pieces too

Not necessarily, could just be free-format marking. You need to interpret it to see the scores he's giving.

Phillips: 7 a couple of fools saves, no chance with the goal.
Solly: 7 dealt with the position change well
Bauer: 7 solid although I think he got beaten for their goal... can’t quite remember it.
Sarr: 7 solid. Good player at this level
Page : 6.5 was okay. Needs competition to push him
Marshall: 5 nothing went well for him. Glad tos we him subbed. Needs competition to push him
Pratley: 7 very solid, experienced head. The perfect player for Aribo/Lapslie/Morgan to be playing with
Aribo: 7.5 first half was the best player on the pitch. Definitely stronger this season. With JFC out, this is his time to shine
Lapslie: 8 our clubs a shambles... but to watch a young player come through, leave everything on the pitch and play so well... that’s a breath of fresh air. Good assist too.
Taylor: 7.5 first half, may as well not have been playing. We couldn’t play our front two in at all. Second half, dangerous. Good header too
    Grant: 7.5 as above
Morgan: 8 see Lapslie. Ran his heart out. I think he was given a free role as he was here, there and everywhere. Sure Bowyer or Jacko would’ve been having a go at him if he wasn’t given a free role

Dijksteel - good to see him back in red after a nasty illness

Bowyer - he set the team out to do a job, at half time, he realised the way they were set up just wasn’t working. He changed it and all of a sudden, we went through the gears. Credit to him.

Aribo 5. I assume you missed the first half
