I'd assume (perhaps incorrectly) that RD is signing off on all decisions until a deal is done.
We've saved a fortune with all the loan players going back plus Konsa and Lennon leaving, so i'm sure Bowyer has been given a budget to work with.

He certainly could play alongside Josh (or another target man) seeing that none of his goals were headers, he looks like the type of striker who is effective on the shoulders of the last defenders.

He's a big lad who can also play a bit, hopefully we won't resort to kicking the ball at his head and hoping it works as has been the case too often before. If Clarke is fit and firing again I think they could work well, with Magennis (if he stays) as the plan B if we need muscle instead of finesse up front.
